Such a unique boutique hotel. Check-in was with a sweet little señora. This is the hotel my Mexican grandfather could have built. Remember that this is a small rural town, and you will love and appreciate this hotel.

This quaint hotel is in an ideal location for those staying in Tlalpujahua! It is an old Spanish colonial-style building and is extremely charming. There were only two negatives that I found: it does need a little TLC on small things, such as the broken lampshades in our room. And there was some mold in the grout around the tiles in the bathroom. Not a lot, not on the floor, but if you are sensitive to this kind of thing, it is something to be aware of. But our bed was very comfortable and we had plenty of blankets for the cold night! The young lady in reception was very friendly and the common areas were delightful! I would definitely stay there again. One thing to be aware of: THEY DO NOT ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS!!! If you pay for your room through Expedia when you make your reservation, you are fine, but be prepared to bring cash or make a transfer from your Mexican bank account if you don't.

Me encantó la ubicación, buena atención En algún otro lado vi malos comentarios y me dió un poco de temor pero ya había reservado jajaja Creo que se debe de ser más conscientes de que es una casa ya de varios varios años y obviamente tiene los problemas propios de, y que es un pueblo "un pueblo magico" dónde estaría la magia si llegáramos a un lugar con mil lujos ?? No pasa nada si sufres un poquito (escaleras en lugar de ascensor, baño pequeño en lugar de tina, ventana en lugar de aire acondicionado, etc) Yo me voy muy feliz del lugar cumplió con su cometido y si puedo regreso 😊
