Stay in Syracuse

Hotel is apparently remodeling. Fridge in didn't work ave thermostat not working. Only air was from open window. Luckily not very humid but still not opptimal. Breakfast was provided and staff were good.

They did charge me double and manger stated he will return back then double charge, but refused to complete to transfer the double charge back to my account. This marchent made it look like legal transaction by running two separate charges back and forth on authorized card which it was provided at the time of checking in. The room does not have air conditioning. I did choice non smoking area; however, l was still able to smile cigarette time to time. Overall, my stay was not bad; except, fraudulent charges which made the entire stay bad. I will never going to stay in this hotel and hope people will consider other nice places.

I want to make sure I say & start with: the staffing here is 100% valid & top-tier in every way, shape & form. I’d even say they are too advanced for this hotel but I see the vision & they will be your FOUNDATION for sure! Keep them around. As for the hotel itself, not ready but almost there. 3 day stay & have been switched into 3 different rooms. Room 1, no HVAC system whatsoever & I’m staying with my lady who’s 8-months pregnant. 😐 Room 2: toilet stops working which is fine, we leave for the day & came back to NO ELECTRICITY. Room 3: everything was good until maintenance walks in, then housekeeping, unannounced because we’re undocumented to this room. Like I said though, I see the vision. Better coordination & documentation of room occupancy & conditions across staffing, you got yourself a good thing. Kristy, I appreciate you. I’ll be back in a few weeks for a part 2. I’d say its worth it.

Nice hotel, clean, comfortable rooms, conveniently close to airport. My one complaint was the lack of wifi. If I walked down the hall or to the lobby I could connect, but not from my room, yet I could pickup the wifi from neighboring properties. When I called the front desk they simply said to close my app and try again -- which needless to say didn't work. Fortunately, I didn't necessarily need wifi during my one-night stay, but sometimes do need to rely on it so for that reason, would not stay there again.

Im jusy going to make a list. -checked in and there was already issues. They never asked what card we want charged. After telling them 3 times my husbands card is to be charged they still tried charging mine -they gave us a double bed instead of a king because they "over booked" and the room wouldnt be ready. This would of been nice to know prior to our arrival. We would of just went somewhere else -the room was completely muggy and hot. The AC didnt work. -the bathroom smelt so bad and was so dirty. There was hair everywhere on the floor. -toilet lid was left up and when i filled the bathtub it had dirt and hair floating in it and wouldnt drain. We also had no hot water so we couldnt take showers. No one wanted to help us and the manager never contacted us. And of course its not letting me upload photos

Customer Service was great!

My fiancé and I stayed here for a night to see a show in town. We didn’t realize that the hotel had JUST opened (and it was a soft open) so there were of course kinks to the actual stay. For example, the AC was having an issue being used large-scale for the first time. Bit of a hitch but in no way ruined our time there. What REALLY stood out was the customer service! Russell at the front desk was so accommodating! He did everything to make our stay more enjoyable - he brought us a fan, switched our room to a more comfortable one, checked up on us, etc. He also handled guests who were much more irate about the AC hiccup with grace and a consistently patient disposition. He was handling the whole thing by himself and went above and beyond to try to make anyone’s stay more comfortable. We all can’t control things like whether your HVAC system will give you a hard time right after opening, but I feel like it will be handled in the right way as long as Russell is in charge!

Needs maintenance

Checked in 11pm after driving a long was so was looking forward to some rest. A/C wasn't working in the room, but the window opens just a crack, so cooling off the room wasn't really possible. The front desk later confirmed it was a whole-building issue. The room I was given had no strike plate on the door, making it not feel very secure. Checked out a little after 5am because I'd rather be back on the road than stay longer.
