This was one of the worst places I’ve ever stayed. Room smelled of cigarette smoke, bathroom was dirty and there was a strong odor of urine, bathroom door was completely broken in half and the shower was extremely dirty and wouldn’t drain. First room I was assigned was not clean, it actually was a complete mess with trash everywhere and the shelf ripped off the wall. The second room was attempted to be clean but the wall next to the bed was bowing like it was going to fall inward, had drywall all over the floor and the smell of mold was very strong. I renovate houses for a living, I know mold very well and my throat was getting scratchy within 5 minutes of being in the room. The wall with the bow is completely compromised and was wet, behind that drywall I will 100% guarantee that its black and not being addressed. Even with all this I tried to make it work by propping the door open, I was only trying to sleep for a few hours before getting back on the road. It was bad, I could do it. I packed up and left, got another room further down the road in Daphne at a very nice Fairfield. I do not know how this hotel is allowed to keep their franchise rights. Its complete trash and needs torn down. Great location but maintenance is awful and clearly nothing is being addressed properly.

Room assignments, didn’t feel safe in room, mold and evidence of significant water damage on walls and ceiling. Bathroom door and room door didn’t shut securely due to water damage, after dark people were loitering outside rooms and in parking lot and we were verbally harassed by a woman who was either mentally ill or under the influence of something.
