This was the cheapest room available for overnight stay while visiting Purdue University. Was good for one light sleeping on the bed without bed bugs biting. Most amenities weren’t that great; but I wasn’t also paying double the price I paid at AmericInn, so won’t complain. But fair warning, if you are expecting great amenities for the price you will be disappointed.
The sign outside at entrance to property still shows La Quinta Inn, even though lobby has been remodeled to say AmericInn. I was told they are working on replacing. In the meantime don’t think you landed at the wrong place if you still see the former name of the property.

The entirety of this hotel was filthy. The room was filthy, the workout room was destroyed and in horrible condition. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

If there was a no star option, I would select that. The hotel seems to only be operated by two employees. When we arrived we witnessed one of them cleaning their feet in the lobby. The room was disgusting and obviously has never been clean.

Always a pleasure to come here. The staff always helpful in anyway they can. Clean room and if in a king room in very nice. Room to move around and relax. I travel a lot this is kinda my favorite motel in the area. Price is great!!!!!

Stood at the front desk for 30 minutes waiting to check in. I rang the doorbell for service, called the “if no one is here” number and even the hotel’s physical phone number, all with no answer. Internet guy who was repairing something said he hadn’t seen the hotel workers for well over 45 minutes prior to that. Eventually a group of guys come walking around the corner and one goes behind the desk and asks what I need. After telling him I needed to check myself (and my students who were traveling with me) in, he apologized because his friends came and he was hanging out with them!
Outside doors that should have key pass locks do not have them, which leaves the door open for anyone to walk in. Room doors also need a good shove to close.
Breakfast wasn’t too great either. Things tasted off. The cranberry juice smelled and tasted bad (almost like it was fermented).
Bedding on one of the beds had odd stains on it. Also looks like mice made a snack of the Bible in one of the rooms.
There is random trash around the exterior of the building, including an old camper and wrecked pick up truck.
Definitely not a place I want to take students to again!

The room was clean. Only problem i had was woke up middle of night by mice. Was like 6 on the counter. Got moved rooms problem was resolved. Now this place was under remodel so hopefully they get this all under control. Hot tube was out of service only reason i picked this place.

The pool was filthy and made me break out in a rash. The breakfast had very little. If I knew the pool would have been like that I would have not booked the hotel. My step daughter was upset. I wanted partial refund due to the inconvenience but when I left no one was around.
