Wake Up and Check Us In Already!

We had a late night check in, and it literally took 22 minutes for someone to come to the front desk. Even though we were calling and ringing the bell, no one came. Then when someone finally did, you could tell he just rolled out of bed and had absolutely zero empathy or remorse for making us wait. So, this place is absolute garbage.

Très mal dormi

Tout n'est pas de leur faute, mais une des pires nuits que j'ai passé dans un hôtel. Les voisins ont crié jusque 23h (sûrement un match de foot), ils étaient 5 alcoolisés dans la chambre d'à côté. Le volume de la télé fort et des cris des que un joueur devait marquer ! Je suis passée à l'accueil, il m'a dit aller les voir, mais ça n'a rien changé, mon mari est allé les voir mais pas très coopératifs (alcool)... Le lit très mou et les oreillers très épais, mal de dos assuré le matin ! Et en pleine nuit les voisins du dessus qui se sont mis à courir, plafond plus que léger... Bref très mauvaise nuit !!! Petit déj correct avec gauffres, pain, pain au raisin, céréales, Yaourt, oeuf dur... Personnel sympathique.

Needed the night off in a super comfy bed!

Drove up from San Antonio on the way to Dallas. Not a long drive but I needed a night off and this hotel was it. Part of the Choice Hotels network this hotel has a plaque in the lobby from 2021 for being a super hotel. My room was well appointed and the bed wa super comfortable. I got a great night's sleep.

Not so good

Check in was fine, the staff was very friendly, the room was average, the couch in the room looked really old and the coffee table could collapse at any moment. Some of the outlets in the room did not work and most of them were loose in the wall. The room was clean, the breakfast was subpar, there was no juice(out of order for how long) the only thing to drink was coffee or milk served in a picture. The only butter was a stick that you had to cut a piece off of.

The room was clean and had a comfortable bed. This all we were really looking for as we only stopped for a few hours sleep while on a road trip to San Antonio. The faucet in the bathroom sink came off in my hand the 1st time I touched it. The lighting in the bathroom was horrible. It was dim and blotchy looking light. There was no fan, so the walls dropped with water after the shower was used. The shower itself was great! The water pressure was so nice it massaged my neck after long hours on the road.

Wasps in room, very dirty

Overall, the hotel is not clean. The lobby, elevator and rooms were not well kept. We got to our room in the evening and when starting to get ready for bed, my friend was stung by a wasp in her toiletry bag. Then we found two more in her bag. After searching the room, we realized wasps were coming into the room from the a/c unit! Called the front desk and they sent us across the hall to another room. No wasps, but still dirty (sheets and pillow cases had marks on them) and shampoo and lotion provided by hotel were half used. I tried talking to the front desk the next morning about compensation for having to move rooms at midnight, but the lady simply said he’s busy. Have not heard back from anyone at this property.

We booked the hotel and had to cancel due to not being able to go. It was less than an hour when I booked and called about getting a refund. They said they could only refund for the second night. It's really disappointing that the hotel industry operates this way. So we paid for a room that we didn't even stay in.

We’ve stayed at this location a few times when visiting family in town and have never had issues but this time, there was a cockroach in our room. We are not the type of client to cause a scene over one bug but I made it clear to the front desk this would’ve been a major issue with any other visitor. Breakfast and room conditions were perfectly fine otherwise.
