We enjoyed our one night stay here. Welcoming staff, clean room, bar/restaurant area was very nice. Window with broken off handle and broken tap lever Meant I downgraded my stars. But, I reckon give it a year and maybe it’ll be fabulous, certainly it has the potential to be. The lake view room was nice, there was a good view, but the window was dirty! The room was very 1990s American style, not modern but the bed was very comfy. The outside area needs some attention, but there is a lovely lake, we watched the moorhens and the fish. There is free parking which is great, you’re still close to central Cardiff and the bay. Very close to St Fagans museum which I recommend for a great day out. I would return, it’s quiet and 8 minutes drive from my daughter’s in Cardiff bay so perfect!
