Nous avons séjourné au Millennium et, dans l’ensemble, l’accueil a été bon. Cependant, plusieurs points nous ont déçus. Pour le petit-déjeuner, le bacon était beaucoup trop cuit, et cela les deux matins de suite. Concernant la chambre, nous avions choisi cet hôtel justement parce qu’il y avait une piscine, mais nous avons été surpris de ne pas trouver de peignoirs ni de chaussures de bain à disposition — dommage pour un établissement de ce standing. Autre point négatif : j’étais venue avec deux adultes, et je n’ai pas pu être remboursée pour le deuxième jour sous prétexte que la réservation avait été faite en ligne. J’ai donc dû payer deux fois, ce qui est très décevant. Enfin, pour le transfert à l’hôtel, c’était assez compliqué de trouver le point de rendez-vous. Ce serait bien qu’à l’entrée, les horaires et lieux de passage soient clairement affichés pour éviter d’avoir à déranger sans cesse le personnel d’accueil, qui est souvent débordé. Dommage, car l’hôtel a du potentiel, mais plusieurs petits détails ont vraiment gâché l’expérience.

La propreté douteuse de la chambre où nous avons trouvé des punaises était vraiment loin du 4 étoiles promis. Le pommeau de douche était cassé et aucun accessoire de toilette. Pire qu’un hôtel Premiere Classe. Je déconseille vivement !!

When we checked in, the man said he’d just started his shift, yet he was short and curt with us. When we got to our room, there were two damp and dirty hand towels, folded like they were new. Ewww. Got replacements but had to go back to reception to request new ones. The toilet was dirty, the carpeting had seen better days, and the hotel sign outside was very bright in our room above the curtains, even tho they were blackout curtains. But the resto had fabulous steak for dinner, and breakfast was good. This stay was for only one night, so hotel was adequate. Glad they had a shuttle to CDG.

Instead of ranting about my unhappiness, I will just state the facts. 1- when I arrived, the systems were down. They asked me to sit and wait. They will come to me when it’s fixed. 2- while waiting a man was loudly complaining about their booking and his room. 3- after waiting for over 1 hour, I walked up to check if the system was up and they told me the system was up. They never came to get me. 4- I asked to sign up for the airport shuttle the next morning, I was told there was no need and to just be down 15 minutes before it leaves. 5- when they attempted to take the 100 euro hold for the room, the payment would not go through. We tried two credit cards, she then asked me if I had the available balance. I did. 6- I asked if the machine needs to be restarted because of the system shutdown? She said no. I asked if I could just go up to my room and then come down in about 1 hour because I’ve been travelling all day. She said no, it was against policy. 7- After some more time, someone restarted the machine and voila! Now it works. 8- the room smelled like cigarettes and was furnished very 1970s and not in a good way. 9- the next morning I went to use the shuttle, I was told that only people flying with another airline could. Also the shuttle was full. They offered to call me a taxi. 10- taxi and ride shares take forever to get to you. I also suggest you avoid the pub, food was bad. Breakfast is good, you just cannot bring your luggage. You can pick better hotels.

The list is very long for the overall stay. I have stayed at the hotel several times but this time, it was just really, really bad. Dirty, worn down, breakfast looked like there was a food fight, the staff couldn’t keep up cleaning. I could go on!

Horrendous!

The rooms are in bad shape. Shower falling apart, older furniture, food was horrendous, TV was not hooked up to internet so didn’t get channels. Worst of all is the shuttle. It drops off at Terminal 2B only. When I asked the driver whether it goes to Terminal 1, he abruptly responded NO. It took me an additional half an hour to get to Terminal 1, let alone the gate itself. Note that, in addition to the Hotels.com price that you pay, you also pay a tax once you get to the hotel. It was 9 euros for me.
