Won’t stay again!

The room was very old. Nothing like the pics I saw. The beds were broken down. Never saw housekeeping. Never got towels or wash cloths. Only got the two that was there in the room when checked in. We were there 2 nights. I honestly will never stay there again. It was way over priced. The fridge was starting to get a little cold the day we left. But we had no where to keep anything cold. Also had no place to plug my phone in. Had to spend another $30 for a cord that plugs into the wall plug in. 😞 it kinda smelled like a wet dog had been in the room.

Unsafe to unload wheelchair in the dark. No lights near ada room. Holes in parking lot tripping hazzard. Sidewalks are narrow and on a slope near ada room. Ada room i had did not have a seat in shower. No place near the shower for a towel. Towel rack at other in of huge bathroom. Size of bathroom was only plus. Office hard to get into and driveway was up a huge hill in the dark you cant tell where your hoing. Room smelled like old riverwater humidity and smoke from 30 years ago.

We had a plesant stay, sleeping in good beds and with pillows better than average. Checking in and out was an ease. We didn’t have any other interaction with the staff as there isn’t breakfast at this hotel. The room was not cleaned during your stay according to signage (unless you stay longer than a week) and our bed cover and sheets had a couple of old (but washed?) stains. Otherwise the room appeared clean. The hot water supply and shower head in the bathroom worked fine. Though the premises is supposed to be 100% smoke free, our neighbour smoked outside his door morning and evening while talking on his phone. We could easily pick up the conversation and smell the smoke in our room. We did not report it in fear of retaliation. Otherwise fine value for the money. We wouldn’t mind coming back.

We probably should have looked at the reviews more carefully on this one before choosing it. The price was high compared to the other three hotels we stayed at when considering the condition and cleanliness of the room. This is very simply a place to sleep, it's not a place to enjoy sleeping. When we pulled into our parking space, there were a group of guys drinking beer in the parking lot and while they were not being obnoxious, it was a bit concerning that they might not be the friendliest of folks. Also, while the door lock worked, is had been beaten up pretty badly and I was a bit concerned that it would not lock or unlock properly at some point. The room itself was small and poorly maintained. We moved the fridge a little bit to make space for a suitcase, and it had been years since that had been cleaned out underneath, with plenty of dirt and what looked like old pet food still underneath. Lastly, the fridge barely worked, and it also leaked all over when we moved it. Definitely stay someplace else.
