Booked a room through Hotels.com for Quality Inn.and chose the "pay at hotel" option but secured the booking with a bank debit card (to pay at hotel). Upon arrival to check in, The clerk asked for payment, so I inserted a different bank card for payment. I get a receipt the next day (check-out date) to reflect that the payment was taken by the card I used upon checking in and at a higher amount than the booking amount at Hotels.com. I also discovered that payment for the room was taken out of the debit card that I used to secure the booking. I went to the service desk to dispute the charges and the clerk told me that the card I used (the higher amount) upon checking in was only used as a "pre-authorization", whatever that means, and that funds would not be taken out except for the Hotels.com transaction. That did NOT happen, so I basically got charged twice for a 1 night stay at 2 different price points. From here on, I'll continue booking at the neighboring Hampton Inn. I called my bank to dispute the charges with Quality Inn.

I took the bag out of the bathroom waste basket, because I needed it for something that got wet, and the inside of the waste basket was dirty. Chunkier pieces of what, I have no idea. Even waste baskets need to be clean! Other than that, the place seemed clean enough, and I would go back there again.

Housekeeping want that good. Room could have been cleaner. Got there at 9:30am and had to pay $30 early check-in fee, for a room that would be empty anyway and wasn't that clean.

It was at best mediocre. We left at 4 AM and there was a sign that read, sorry for the inconvenience, there is no attended from 9PM to 7 AM. What?? Who is 8n charge of security during that time?
