Disappointed

The first room the a/c didn’t work. We changed rooms The room itself was dirty on the walls. Repairs not painted, furniture old and rough. Linen was yellowed. It needs an overhaul. The pool wasn’t open and in need of repair. It was green and had algae growing in it. Definitely had been like that for awhile. Breakfast was just ok. Coffee not warm. The check in was smooth and manager very friendly.

They have tried to update the look but overall it’s a mix of new and old look. Bathroom wall was cracked and peeling from previous water damage. There was an odor of what smelled like urine and cigarettes in the bathroom. Bed was comfortable but TV was very small given the size of the room. The outside of the hotel was not very clean. Pool was out of service.

All exterior doors need to be fixed no entry with room key . had to park in back With trailer on truck. Desk Clerk never mentioned door entry was broke. Had to walk with luggage and grouchy Wife 100plus yards(after 6hr drive) back to front.PS TV didn't work found this out after putting on PJs. Oh phone didn't work in Room 304 so calling for help out of question. Sent wife done Mistake! Deck clerk said well we have two options 1 I'll refund your card 2 You can find another motel !!!! (she hates her job)! Well on bright side owners are very nice and caring (they just don't hire well) Well I left a small overnight bag in bathroom and they Immediately shipped it to me for additional 42.0 dollars now all's well thank you

If there was a worse rating, i would give that. I booked sight unseen because my regular hotel was booked up. This place had a poor appearance inside and out. It had bad odors to match in the room and hallways. I ended up leaving and staying somewhere else even though it was non refundable.

Not for families or longer than one night stays

We got there, the pool was closed down for maintenance. Then we got to the room, the comforters were stained and dirty, the lock was kicked off the door, the bathroom smelled like mildew. We got our money back and left within 5 minutes of checking in. I will not stay there again. The front desk worker was nice about refunding us, but that’s the only good thing I can say about this location.

One problem

The only problem I had with the stay was in attending the Salina Theater the playbill indicated that if you were staying at one of the listed hotels, which LaQuinta was and had a ticket to show you would be given a discount. I was unable to find anyone at the hotel that knew anything about this or was able to help me.

Pool was under maintenance (water was green) so we booked the hotel because of the pool that we didn't get to use. Workout room - equipment was in poor condition. Breakfast was solid.

We booked a king room with a pullout couch got to the room, no pull out couch. My child had to sleep on the floor. There was no indication that the pool was out of service for maintenance, which devastated my youngest child. The room that I booked said it could sleep 4 people, upon arrival to the room, we discovered only 2 bath towels. There was no bathroom exhaust fan. The A/C unit didn’t work properly and the room was extremely sticky and felt stagnant. In an attempt to call the front desk to see if there was anything that could be done about the lack of beds, I had to go into the hall and find a fire escape plan and call the toll free number on that because there wasn’t a single directory or indication as to how to contact the front desk from the room phone. Overall, I do NOT recommend this hotel and absolutely will not ever be staying there again.
