I don't have enough words to describe, how the front desk person ruined my night. I went to the hotel few hours before check in to make sure one name on the 6 rooms I booked was changed and the person who I booked the room for won't have any issues checking in.
I paid over $1100 for 6 rooms and was told that front desk can't disclose that information to me. (if the name was changed to correct one) I called earlier that week and made sure the name will be changed.
Sure enough, the change wasn't actually made and one of the guests could not get a room. it was terrible on her part not to let him check in, even though I called Orbitz and the person on the phone was trying to help me, to get the room for my friend, who btw was in pain as he had a surgery couple days earlier. The indifference, ignorance and lack of professionalism and plain rudeness on the front desk person's part was something I've never experienced before, and as a band manager I book at least 18 rooms per month. My friend had to share the room with another guest in our party, even though I paid for a room for him. The manager was not available and the front desk women was absolutely the worst customer service/ front desk person I've ever dealt with.
Don't book that hotel! There is no elevator! This is another inconvenience. Just overall terrible!
