We stayed overnight to go to a college to meet coaches, so many rooms open but they gave us a room that was heavily smoked it (cigarettes). I have asthma and cannot handle that for long periods of time. They never refilled the conditioner or shampoo (completely empty). My daughter and I had to wash our hair with bar soap. Wall was falling apart. Zero accommodations and maybe a 20% off total if I came back. The people working there were super nice but should have done more than well we can’t do anything and here’s a discount if you come back. We stayed at the Quality Inn at FL and no issues. I understand you get what you pay for but the standard for the same hotel name should be better than what we received. Very disappointing.

From the moment we walked in the door to the lobby the entire experience was terrible. I had to call several times to get someone to come to the front desk. The first room they gave us did not have heat and they indicated that they knew of the problem when they gave us that room. The second room had a malfunctioning smoke detector. The third room was next door and you could still hear the smoke detector. Both of the last rooms had an overwhelming smell of air freshener. It was to cover up the smell of the bathrooms. We decided that we could not continue to stay at this location and asked for a refund so we could leave and find accommodations elsewhere. We were told that all the problems were "fixable" so we could not be given a refund.

For the price, I was certainly not expecting 5 star service, but I was expecting a better kept room. The freezing unit of the refrigerator was hopelessly caked in inches of frost. The facial tissue box was completely empty The toilet paper roll holder in the bathroom was stuffed with wads of tissue of undetermined condition (we didn't want to touch it). The shampoo dispenser was empty.
