Property had been recently renovated with new paint, carpet, etc. They are converting to a Hilton Spark later in the week. What didnt change from our stay 10 months ago is the poor cleaning - hair left in the tub, dirty toilet rim, dirty bathroom counter edge, soda can left on the floor, dirty light swtch cover in the bathroom.

If you call a waffle or toast, hot breakfast, I guess it qualifies pool was closed old banana laying under the desk of our room. That smelled -paid way too much money to stay here.

The hotel is currently called Stay Suites but will be Spark by Hilton at the end of the month. The building says Spark already, so this was a little confusing when arriving in the dark. This hotel is currently being renovated. It appears that it will be nice when renovations are done but the room we stayed in was not complete yet as there was still paint on the floor, masking tape on the floor, shampoo/conditioner not installed yet in shower, etc. Breakfast was also limited to cereal and toast.

We arrived with another couple for a short getaway. Upon arriving. The parking lot was full of trucks and bldg materials. The lobby was full of boxes, Wood piles and junk so you could barely walk. The hallways were disasters too. We had to step through boxes, wood and junk to get to our rooms. The room was missing tables, a hair dryer, hangers, no connection for the phone and alarm clock, there were screws in the carpet, our ironing board was in the hall. The room was pretty empty. Our friends room was the same. The breakfast area was a disaster too with no hot food, a few donut holes, some cold cereal, a couple bananas, some coffee, no plates and no place to sit at a table. knife blades in the carpet, piles of bldg materials and junk waiting for an accident to happen! The manager wouldn’t give us any discount or money back. He didn’t apologize either like all he wanted was the money! This place should never have customers until the construction is done! No mention online about any of this! Totally made our stay miserable!

Not sure why no one is talking about this but this hotel is under MAJOR renovations right now. The entire lobby was tore up and there is no breakfast because of construction. Also the pool and hot tub are drained and also under construction. I have stayed here three times in the last 6 months because it is cheap but it’s not for everyone. HOWEVER we had a room that was like 90% completely renovated and it was clean and comfortable. Just buyer beware cause it does not say anything on Hotels.com!

Not very clean, as they were mid-renovation.. would have been nice to not have to step around chunks of sheetr9ck and tools in the hallway. The room itself was comfortable enough, although not the cleanest - it looked like someone had given their hair a trim in the bathroom. The staff, though, is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was what you would expect - coffee, cereal, donuts, waffles, etc. Overall it served my purposes fine, I only needed an inexpensive stay to avoid driving in a snowstorm.

The first room had no heat. The second room, the bath tub drain was plugged and the shower head was partially painted over. no end table next to the sofa. the lamp was sitting on the floor.

They are going through remodeling so some disarray is expected but I don’t know if they are doing a piece at a time—some of our room was good and some was bad. The furniture is old and has spots on it, like paint spots. There are what I believe new fixtures. But also old lamps and an old mirror just set up against the wall. The base of the toilet was dirty, the toilet didn’t flush so she gave me a plunger. The bathroom vanity looks new but there was a dirty wash rag under it. Bed comfortable, quiet room, and price were all positives.
