Great service, good breakfast

When we stayed, hotel was under a "remodel". First room has poor quality and shower leaking to below room. Had to switch rooms. 2nd room had not been fully renovated. Quality of remodel was very bad. Shower would not stay hot, no shelves to put shampoo bottles/razors. Shower Head would move. Water would leak out of shower area into bathroom area. The one nice thing was the bed was comfortable. if in the area, it gets the job done for somewhere to sleep.

Hotel was being remodeled. And several careless people had crashed into the pillars out front. Not the fault of the hotel. It was a very safe location where i could go walking in the evening. More of a country setting which i calming after a long drive or work. Staff was helpful in getting me a downstairs room. Beds were comfortable and room was clean.

The hotel had NO POOL NO GYM, no maid service, I asked 3 times for towels and had to go get them myself. The breakfast was very small. The carpet was dirty. The room the curtains were torn. 32 inch TV. I will not stay there again

The room was clean and very recently renovated. The staff was cordial and efficient. Breakfast was continental style with sufficient items to start the day. Parking was easy and the hotel was close to the interstate.

Not happy about the gentleman at check in he did not seem to understand privacy, I have a breathing condition I’m self conscious about he pointed out and offered to call an ambulance, then I forgot my phone there, while calling it to look for it he answered. This is an invasion of privacy, which has now given me no reason to trust the staff here.

Property is under renovation and not booking at full capacity. Even though our room was mostly finished, a few items were still missing. There were no shelves in the shower for soap or shampoo, no tp holder, ceiling was not yet painted, and only luke-warm water was available. Beds were comfortable and refrigerator worked well. It was quiet except for mid-morning construction work. Surprisingly, renovation trash was being wheeled right through the dining area, which wasn’t ideal. Breakfast was ok. There were waffles, toast, muffins, yogurt, cereal and biscuits with gravy. Out of all that, only the 2% milk tasted “off” to us. We applaud the hotel’s renovation attempt. It will look great when finished. If you can get your room at a good price here, don’t hesitate. But they need to finish many renovation details before it’s fully operational, in our opinion.

Room was clean with great lighting. Staff was very friendly and helpful in getting us connected to the Internet. Breakfast had several items to choose from. This was a really nice place to stay.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was adequate. The parking lot and grounds had quite a bit of littler lying around, and the round metal plates on the floor in the hall were sticking up around the edges, making it challenging to navigate with wheeled luggage. It was almost the cheapest place we could find, at the last minute, so perhaps you get what you pay for. No regrets, but also no frills. We don't quite know why it was rated 8.4 in Expedia. We would likely rate it 6.5 or 7.

The walls are pretty thin, and all the doors close loudly so you'll hear everyone coming and going easily. The location is also next to a railroad crossing, so expect train noise. There is also a $100 deposit for your room which hotels.com. doesn't mention. Other than that, it's fine. Especially since its cheap.

Had issue with for alarm for both nights I’ve stayed. Looks like blood stain on curtain. Sheer part of curtain was all ripped apart. Despite the sign hung to not to be disturbed someone did come in. Called the manager, she got agitated by the fact that I called her cell, instead of the semi-establishment Will not be ever going to stay with them and cannot recommend.

It was a good stay, the room was clean, the property was just run down a bit!

The room was spacious and nicely appointed. Bed was comfortable and I slept well. Sun shade curtain was shredded and moisture from air conditioning had stained the remains. Faucet in sink was poorly assembled so that it took a little work to find the exact position for handle to shut off water flow. Shower drained clogged and took over 2 hours for it to drain down after I showered. Breakfast provided was acceptable, better than locations I had paid much more for a room, however similar to what I’ve had at a Super 8 hotel.

I tried to call to cancel my reservation for 2 days and could not get anyone to answer. I also sent an email and have yet to receive one back. Ultimately I was never given a refund. I cant speak on cleanliness of hotel, but their customer service sucks!

Several reviews raved about breakfast. Assorted breads from Walmart. A high school student made a waffle, took one bite, and tossed it. The following were marked ‘Out of order’: 1st floor women’s room, 2nd floor ice machine, and something else. Black mold on ice machine. Lobby not mopped 3 days. Footprints on walls in elevator. Miscellaneous stain on mattress in room. Dirty dishes in lobby 3 days. Hallways smelled of pot. Overall should have spent the extra $20 for someplace else.

The room was nice and spacious. It had a microwave a refrigerator with the freezer and a coffee pot. It was a nice large room. The only thing I would have to complain about was it is not a soundproof room. We stayed on the first floor and was awaken every morning by people stomping on the floor and slamming doors so if you are a light sleeper, I would say stay on the top floor, other than that it was a very nice stay,
