Avoid!

Terrible. When we booked it was originally supposed to be myself and my partner however we decided to take one of our children on our trip, we phoned a week in advance to add him to the booking where we were told there was no family rooms but they would be able to put an extra bed into the room at a charge, this seemed reasonable and we agreed. When we checked in the hotel room they took extra money from us and gave us our keys, we went to the room and the ceiling was covered in large cracks and damp of the ceiling presumably from a leak the overall cleanliness was pretty awful and to our surprise no extra bed. We went down to reception to be told that there was no extra beds at the property and that we were told we had to share a double bed, (2 adults and 7 year old child). They made me out to be a liar and stated that I had agreed to this on the phone, which I absolutely never. We queried why we would be charged extra to share a bed and the man on reception agreed. We couldn’t stay at the property for obvious reasons. We contacted hotels.com immediately who advocated for a refund but the hotel simply refused. We are now out of pocket for the original stay plus for accommodation we had to book for that evening as we were 4 hours away from home, late in the afternoon with a young child. Avoid this place at all costs. They will make you feel like a liar and give sub service.

Schimmelpilz

Die Aussenwand ist vom Schimmel befallen und in dem Zimmer riecht es muffig. Da das Gebäude aktuell wegen Bauarbeiten eingegrüstet ist, können die Fenster nicht geöffnet bleiben. Die elektrischen Installationen sind katastrophal. Wenigstens ist das Personal freundlich und das Frühstück, was sehr gut war, wurde als Entschädigung offeriert.

Jolie cabanon en bord de mer. Un peu petit pour une famille de 4 personnes mais suffisant pour une nuit. Le petit déjeuner et correct et le restaurant est très bon. Les enfants ont adoré jouer sur la plage.

Accueil correct. Je n'ai jamais eu de réponse à mon souhait d'avoir une chambre donnant sur le lac...pire, la chambre proposait une vue sur un échafaudage collé aux vitres fort sales et sur la route principale! Petit déjeuner cher mais varié et copieux.

The Onich Hotel

The hotel is getting some exterior work done at the moment. The staff were really nice. The food was very good but a bit over priced I thought. The views were great too. The room was clean but the toilet was very cramped to use the loo next to the shower but you can only work with the space you have.

Awful. Room was tiny, mouldy, dirty, smelled horrible. Food took over 1 hour to arrive, no comments or apologies or explanations from staff. When it arrived, it was terrible food, we politely explained we were unhappy. This caused merry hell. The restaurant manager and the hotel manager were both aggressive, hostile and frankly scary. We left the hotel at 9.30pm with a 2 hour drive home. Was better than staying there. Do not stay here. Awful.

Restaurant ok, cottage très bruyant. Belle vue

Séjour dans "cottage" collé à la route. Le lit pour enfant en fait un canapé n'était pas fait. La maison tremblait à chaque camion, mon fils n'a pas dormi de la nuit. Par contre le restaurant est très bien et le personnel très aimable. J'ai constaté des piqures de puces après ce séjour mais je ne saurai affirmer que ça vienne de cet établissement spécifiquement, bien qu'ayant qqs doutes... Très belle vue aussi

Hôtel bien dans l’ensemble

Nous avons passé deux jours à l’hôtel. Un peu deçus de l’hôtel… un peu vetuste. La chambre à côté d’une route assez passante. Mais le personnel est très sympa et la nourriture très bonne !

Accommodated our late arrival due to flight delays. Breakfast’s were great, checked before cleanup to make sure we didn’t need anything more. The one dinner provided more food than needed. Provided additional linens needed when the hiking gods struck. Very pleasant and aware staff. Greatly enjoyed our stay.

Great overnighter

Great little overnight stay, stunning views even on a wet winter day, enjoyed a walk along the Hotel’s beach (!) and the pods looked very tempting for a future visit. Room was compact and could do with a little TLC, but the staff very friendly and efficient.
