Great central modern hotel in the heart of Liverpool (close to the Liver buildings). Easy check in. We had a studio room which had a river view which was amazing - down the river and out to sea (sunset was fabulous) Room was big and comfortable with a good aircon system (which was much needed over the hot Foo fighters weekend) Large shower which again was well used for the weather. Had breakfast in the hotel on day one - buffet style which was nice and lots of it. The Sky bar had some amazing panoramic views and a good selection of drinks and light bites. Highly recommended if you're looking for a nice treat weekend away!

The prices suddenly inflated because of graduation week in the city and the golf open. To pay over £250 per night per room without breakfast in Liverpool is extortionate. The rooms initially overlooked the road and a building site but thankfully the staff appreciated our concerns and relocated us. We didn’t even have any fruit or biscuits in our rooms. The hotel is very nice and brilliantly location but due to them inflating the price I would not go again or recommend.
