We really enjoyed our stay at The Fives. Food was okay, beach and pools were perfect, staff was friendly. It did seem like they didn’t have a great system for all inclusive guests. I didn’t like that you had to say your room number to everyone when ordering. Also a downside that they didn’t have any buffets for a quick bite. You always had to sit down and be waited on, just seemed like a waste of time.

The room was good. The restaurants and bars closed at 9pm, no food no drinks after 9pm. The beach was useless because of seaweed, very bad smell of seaweed even in the room. We booked for 2 weeks but after second day we cancelled our stay, hotel didn’t want to refund us at all. Be very careful when you book on the Expedia, verify carefully the information, don’t relay on what Expedia publish, in case of any pb, they wont take any responsibility and help you.

Great resort. Super small but suited my needs. The beach was right there, no walking needed. There are a bunch of wellness activities throughout the week. I stayed Monday through Friday. Some activities were a stretch class, Mexican bead work, Spanish language class through food and culture, glass paintings, and bracelet making. Food was great, especially Ro Marley for breakfast and lunch. I recommend adding a fried egg to your chillaquiles. Banana pancakes and yogurt are great. Ceviche is amazing and maduros, healthy bowl. Basically ate everything.

Pleasant property with huge well appointed rooms and fabulous bathrooms! Easy walk into town to try different restaurants and cafés and shop (we did not choose the all inclusive option). A long, walkable beach. The secret of this place if you like activities is Gustavo, a one-man band who teaches yoga, pilates, art classes making bracelets, wall-hanging and painted frames, leads bike trips...and more! His friendliness and energy really transformed our stay.

The facility was great staff were always amazing and ready to help I would return for sure for that reason. room is spacious and I love that it’s a small more intimate property, the beach is clean and was continuously cleaned daily my only problem was with the all inclusive food quality was just ok and restaurants were not always open and or included in the all inclusive so confusing! beach menu had items on it one day and the next the same item is not available for us… just too confusing the hotel provided fresh grilled seafood which was not included in an all inclusive option the staff seemed confused as well I would recommend and stay again hope they fix the situation with the all inclusive
