The Beachcomber was everything we thought it might be , charming, well located, with staff that was friendly helpful and courteous. We arrived by train and we certainly appreciated the fact that it was a short walk from the station. Absolutely Beautiful view. It has only 12 villas but you will feel right at home. Most guest are super nice and share certain things like food, drink and toys with each other. The fire pit is amazing and roasting marshmallows is even better.

Floor was filthy. Had to have them come mop because my feet we black from walking on it. Had to pay to park on street because there’s only one spot per unit and someone took two spaces. All spaces are compact cars only too. Didn’t work for our truck. Parking added up over 4 nights. Couldn’t watch tv first night because remote batteries were dead. We were the first unit by the gate so we listened to everyone coming and going and we’re right next to the house keepers loudly talking and laughing while doing laundry.

This is probably the best hidden gem in San Clemente. My wife and I live in the city and wanted a staycation place and found this. A Hawaii vibe with a fire pit overlooking the ocean and walkable to pier, restaurants and the downtown. Rooms have beautiful views of the sunset. Great great time. Highly recommended. Sam and Jeanne.
