Overall the hotel was nice and clean. We did not eat at the restaurant as it had 2 star reviews on Google. There are plenty of restaurants in the area within 10 minutes. The pools were nice, the kids really enjoyed them. The rooms were decent size, the bathroom is a little snug but ok. My only disappointment were the beds, they were super soft. We literally sunk in and could hear the springs. It was so uncomfortable to sleep.

Its better than cartoon network and made a-lot of improvements. The only issue was the paint was chipping from the bathroom floor, the complimentary soap/conditioner/body wash dispensers were moldy inside the bottle dispenser, but the room was clean, the pools were very nice and the upside is its close to the amusement park.

We were in town for a soccer tournament. We booked a room with a queen and two bunks, and packed a cot for our family of 5. The room was clean, functional and spacious enough for the 5 of us. The kids really enjoyed having their own TVs in their bunks. We also really enjoyed the pool in the afternoons, and adult time around the fire pit in the evening. The staff was super responsive (relighting the fire pit after it went out, helping us ask some late night revelers to turn down the music outside of our room). No complaints at all, we had a great stay!

The rooms are average size so not bad at all. The pillows are quite small and uncomfortable. We ended up going down the street and buying some cheap pillows for the trip. The pool area is pretty awesome both inside and out. The arcade is run by a third party and quite a few of the games either took your credits and didn’t work or weren’t in operational order. The poor staff must get overwhelmed with the amount of people who inform them and then they have to explain it’s a third party. The restaurant was fine and I’m super thankful they were able to make gluten free pancakes, but they definitely need more staff for breakfast service. There was one server and a dining room full of people. Maybe just create a drink bar to go with the buffet and people can grab their own drinks as well. We sat and ate the majority of our breakfast before our drinks arrived. The server was doing the best she could but additional staff would be helpful to ease the burden. Overall, quite a great location, lots offered, just needs some tweaking as they just opened 5 months ago.

It has a musty smell, like horses or cows live there, not super strong but still. I also don’t like that everything is on the ground floor, but that was my fault for not noticing. Really comfortable place. Stayed one night. We tried the restaurant on premises for breakfast. Buffet style, plenty of choices but found the food cold. There was no microwave for us to pop it in and warm it. The coffee was hot and good. They was bringing it from the coffee are next door. We spoke to the staff about it, they tried to resolve the issue.

The resturant was not open while we were there. The hot tub was warm and we were dissapointed there was not a way to turn on the jets. The outdoor area looked great but it was too early to be open but it certainly looked inviting. The arcade looked like a kids dream. The staff were really kind, pleasant and helpful. Room 106 sink was clogged and drained poorly, being the only thing a negative although we would have liked a microwave in the room. We did use the one in the snack area.

Take the problems that the Cartoon Network had and slap a fresh coat of paint on it. That’s exactly what DW did with the motel. We stayed for three days over the Easter weekend. Writing this on our last night here. The rooms were renovated with new flooring, wallpaper and paint. What remained was the same problems with the plumbing and other problems. When we entered the room the tub drained so slow you where you’re standing in water as you showered. The pull for the “new” shower divert did not work properly. The stopper for the sink was stuck on the closed position. The refrigerator barely kept anything cold. Personally I don’t think it was even on. Extreme lack of drawers or place to hang clothes. We addressed the plumbing problems twice and nothing was done. All the staff was super friendly though. During the three days or room was not turned over. No towels were offered and our trash remained piled up. Be wary, since it is a motel, it’s exposed to the outside so every morning our tub was full of nats and flys. Which of course could not drain. I blame the amount we had on the huge opening under the front door which allows outside air to come in. The staff was super friendly but the 30 min early entry perk was not worth staying on property. With all the better lodging nearby, we will not be staying here again.

This was the most convenient stay for our family of 4! We have a 2 year old & 9 month old & it was such a great location! The property was clean, lots of food & activities on site, target & Walmart 1 mile down the street in case we needed baby supplies. Love that the hotel offers park tickets in the lobby. Everyone was so nice & we will definitely be back again next summer!
