Hotel Morgan is a beautiful spot to stay just a few minutes walk to WVU. Here are the things they could improve upon - more personable check-in. No conversation other than what was absolutely necessary then handed room keys and told where the elevator was. Nothing wrong, but simple and I had to come down, for instance, in search of ice. There is also no information in the room - no book, brochure, placard. Basic. (Answer for ice, by the way, is floors 3, 5, 7 but not near the elevators).
As for room comfort - the room is beautiful. Water pressure in the shower was good! Room walls felt thin - I could hear someone snoring all night and that made it difficult to sleep. Room temp was difficult to manage. It was necessary to keep the window A/C unit running to maintain comfort. When it wasn't running, it got hot quick. So, as it was cycling through the night, it was hot/cold, hot/cold. Both my daughter and I did not sleep well because of this.
The convenience of Hotel Morgan is the biggest selling point, in my opinion. I would stay here again if/when needed.
