Mixed bag for us. The apartment was spacious and pretty clean. The beds were comfortable and the landscaping was lovely and picturesque. We had an odd smell in the master bathroom that came and went. I did come across a cockroach but just the one. I didn’t complain as I just dealt with it but including for transparency. The kitchen was clean and well stocked with pots, pans, plates etc. Breakfast was the same for the entirety of our stay. Was filling but the lack of variation meant it became a bit boring quite quickly. Had to ask a few times for extra as you got a standard spread. Jose and most of the staff were lovely and really flexible, they gave us a packed lunch as our early flight meant we miss led breakfast. However the complex felt a little bit like a retirement home. There was no entertainment and no atmosphere. The one shop there was closed during our stay and there wasn’t loads to do around the area, can recommend restaurant Valeiro which is a five minute walk, and the swallow bar wasn’t far but we didn’t get a chance to visit, the Beijinhos beach is a 10 minute walk away and lovely but has no amenities so bring your gear and swim shoes as it gets rocky in the water. The kids enjoyed the pool and the beer in the restaurant (where you had breakfast) were good and reasonably priced. The Vila vita complex that sits behind Turiquintas appears to be the dominant force in the area. Although our stay was fine I’m afraid we wouldn’t go back.

os quartos muito limpos e amplos, funcionários super simpáticos e prestativos. excelente para famílias. piscinas limpas e é próx da praia. tenho só tenho duas observações a internet e a TV, wifi não conectava e a TV não tinha programação em português, muito ruim para desenhos para quem tem crianças, mas isso não impediu uma ótima estadia, até pq eles assistiram desenhos no telemóvel. mas o restante tudo perfeito, com certeza voltarei.

Maison décevante mais bien située

La maison comporte 3 chambres mais une est située en sous sol sans fenêtre (j'aurais aimé que ce soit précisé). Pour le reste il y a tout ce qu'il faut même si un peu plus d'entretien et de ménage n'aurait pas été refus. La plage et le centre animé sont proches. Heureusement que nous sommes allés pour la région, le soleil et que nous passions 90% de notre temps dehors!
