I’ve stayed in this hotel many times, this time was definitely my least favorite. I love the hotel due to the closeness to the intercostal and water, yachts etc. but I must say this time around the service and staff were the worst I’ve ever seen here as truly a systemic allowance of that behavior. I love that the staff love each other so much, but I wish they treated customers the way they treat each other. The only exception to that rule was Joshua at the front desk.
When I tried to extend by a night 2 different front desk folks (Jenny and Jaeden) told me they were sold out so it was impossible. Luckily one of the other guests looked online and realized they were indeed misinformed OR just told their staff to say that because it was extremely busy.
When I arrived there was bird poop and ants all over the balcony, looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in ages.
The bottom line this hotel is very outdated, and old but the location and views are incredible. However if you are used to excellent service do not come to this Hilton. They do not meet the service standards of true hiltons. This place needs better management because it was truly a gem before. Please pick a struggle you can’t be outdated, dirty, poor service and have weak amenities (one pool no adult one, no room service or spa). I believe they can operate this way since they are close to the convention center
