Overall great location in the quarter, staff was friendly and helpful with local knowledge. The property is historic and this leads to the only negative, don't expect the details to be like new construction polished. Old plumbing, cracked tiles here and there, musty smell now and then. Not an "avoid" issue, but have correct expectations. You are paying MOSTLY for the great location, in this sense, definitely worth it.

In the middle of the Fench Quarter.It has a cute little coffee shop attach where we ate breakfast, called French Toast. We were able to walk to many of the shops.

This is the best hotel to stay in the French Quarter. Check-in was easy ,quick and even got to check in early because our room was ready. It’s very walkable to everything. It’s a block off of the French market and Jackson Square and also the tour main stop is also a block off café. Dumont is next to the hotel as are many shops and art galleries and plenty of street musicians you could even take a carriage ride. It’s only a couple blocks from Bourbon Street but far enough where it’s quiet to sleep. You do not need a car while staying here. Taxis are a flat rate of $36 from the airport to the hotel, which is very cheap because the Uber was 40. The icehouse bar for happy hour is a cute little place to sit, and you can also take your drinks into the courtyard by the fountain, which is very nice with plenty of seating.. the French toast restaurant which is attached to the hotel was nice because the first morning we were there. It was pouring down rain and we didn’t have to get wet. waitresses and staff are friendly and efficient and the food was delicious., we actually ate there both mornings. The favorite part of the hotel was David the valet. He seemed to always be there with a smile and very helpful.. if I’m ever in New Orleans again I would only stay at this hotel. It was a perfect trip away.!

Check-in staff should be more informative about where the room is located and how to get there. We stood and waited for a bellhop, but nobody came to give us direction to our room, which ended up in a totally different building than where we checked in. Clean hotel, but outdated and not very helpful staff.

The hotel is located in a convenient location and staff was friendly. The room was nice and clean other than a questionable stain on the sheets. Also, the TV would not work due to “network issues” which was not ideal.

I love this place. Cute hotel, two blocks from Bourbon, nice bar, rooms are immaculate, secure parking and an exceptional staff. I have stayed here before and will again. There prices are very reasonable as well.

The location of this hotel, in the French Quarter , is ideal. Its very easy to walk to tourist sites or pickup locations. The hotel is very clean. There is no elevator so if you are staying here with heavy luggage request a room downstairs.
