A delightful overnight at the Inn, with a warm welcome, good conversation with other guests over coffee and breakfast, and lots of pointers for dining in Troy. John was a fantastic host and my wife and I enjoyed our stay tremendously. The entire space is eclectic and has a great charm. John is so kind and a true gem of a human being. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom and shower was AMAZING. Breakfast was amazing as was the company that we had. We might just look for an excuse to go back to Troy just so we can stay again. This place has a true rural that you don’t typically find in a larger city.

The Gardner Inn is very comfortable. We stayed in the John Waters quest room which was attractive with a touch of camp (as it should be). We slept beautifully. Breakfast and coffee were bot delicious. We especially enjoyed our conversation with the other guests and with innkeeper, John. Thank you for a great stay.
