Nice hotel for a few nights stay. A few issues like the shower head kept falling out of the stand and the pillows were extremely uncomfortable, but all in all it was a comfortable hotel with a decent breakfast, helpful staff and really well situated. Would stay again.

The hotel is in a great location. Excellent breakfast options - try the sarawak laksa. Staff are very helpful and the concierge was able to find tours for a solo traveller without having to pay for 2 people. I stayed in one of the older, cheaper rooms and the bathrooms are in need of renovation however it was still clean and everything worked well.

All good except I am unable to wear the nightgown the hotel provided . Look old and dirty and wear and tear at side ! Carpet is tear off between the joining points. Thank goodness the cleaner is done their cleaning on room clean to sacrificing me. Very good!

I've stayed here several times now over the last 30 years. There are better hotels around for sure but The Grand Margherita is consistently a good standard. Try and get one of the newer refurbished rooms, my last stay was in one of the older rooms (8th floor) and it's sadly in need of some TLC. Still adequate but could do with updating

Not recommended if you have a choice

The staff is friendly but the room hmm speechless…. if i have a choice i would rather not stay again . The bed was super hard like floorboard and the water leaking in the bathroom tape plus stain chair says it all.

Comfortable bed but overall needs some work.

The lobby is in nice condition, the hallways leading to the rooms have filthy carpeting. The beds are comfortable. The bathrooms have mold in the showers, mirrors are peeling in the back. We switched to the executive floor and the bathrooms were slightly better but the hallways were in the same dirty condition. Staff is friendly. The place needs some TLC.
