The hotel was in the middle of construction and there was no parking available. We arrived late and couldn’t find the entrance in. Had to park at a hotel across the way. I would’ve picked a different hotel if i would’ve known. Breakfast was good, but was in a work zone as well. Kids enjoyed the pool. Room was clean, but AC didn’t work. It was 73 when we got there but was 75 when we checked out after running the AC all night. The staff were great, helpful and apologetic. They did nothing wrong and were nice. I’d choose a different hotel until construction is over.

First time traveling to Kentucky on a family getaway and I’m extremely happy to say that the hotel was a success for us. Clean, friendly staff, quiet neighborhood many local businesses and restaurants that made us feel safe and comfortable. The staff takes interest in making you feel at home and welcomed. Jessica, Cindy, Debbie and Emily are absolutely above and beyond with their hospitality and service. Breakfast is always fresh and delicious variety of food. The coffee is on point and that’s something we always look forward to after our long day. I really can sit here and continue to say all the good things about this hotel but it’s not like I’ll be able to point them all. I hope the staff continues to work as a team and enjoy each other as well as the customers as they show us. Some updates are being done on the main entrance but with all the welcoming of the staff it seems as not so much of a bother to us, actually we’re looking forward to seeing the outcome of it and we really looking forward to visiting the area many times more. This hotel is a keeper for our future family travels.

A construction expansion is in progress and the lobby is difficult to find at night. We had to enter from the backside of the property. Room was fine and breakfast was typical Hampton. Surrounding area looked safe and it was an easy 5 min drive to Ark Encounter. I’ll give it a 5 star when construction is complete.

Currently there’s not a front entrance, everyone comes through an unsecured, side door. Although I felt safe enough, there’s not a keyed entrance , it’s open 24/7. The beds were comfortable and clean, the bathrooms were clean too. It’s outdated, but I say it’s not the same as most Hampton Hotels.

The room was very outdated, needed most things redone. The carpet, paint, furniture, and decor changed, it looked dirty. Everything from top to bottom, was very under standard for Hampton Inns. They are redoing the front desk, I hope they don’t stop there. The evening shift clerk, was a bit sketchy. Jittery and beet red, she was obviously on something. The marijuana fumes were present, not with her, but on the elevators. Breakfast was what I’m accustomed to, but no trays to carry food . If it’s too much information, I apologize, but I probably won’t go back to this location. I hope if something has changed with Hampton, this will fall into the right hands.
