Great Hotel!

I can’t say enough good things about Hotel Occidental. It is well located, right in the historic center near sights, restaurants, shops, and transit. My room was large, clean, and comfortable. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I will absolutely return my next time in Guadalajara.

Unfortunately it’s not in a good area, the noise is unbearable and the rooms are completely outdated. The staff was nice and everything seemed clean. Keep in mind no air conditioning either

It was too close to a main and busy/noisy roadway for me. Much quieter at night, though. I didn't do enough research regarding mapping out the area. It's a good location in the central region and walking.

Hotel que tiene ya sus años que necesita una remodelación para ser más adecuado a una estancia placentera .la zona es extraña debido a que por las noches es sola aún viendo céntrica es insegura por tener al rededor personas en situación de calle y zona cercana de adicciones si para ti es importante salir tranquilo y no te gusta lidiar con el entorno verás que solo callendo la noche se transforma el área a sola y zona roja
