Helpful staff

Hello, We had an overall good experience at the Bay House. Positives: Staff were very helpful and friendly. One of them offered to dry my wife's swim suit. She wanted to swim really badly as therapy but since we were leaving early in the morning it was going to be a challenge getting her suit dry. So that was a blessing. Front desk staff did a great job of welcoming us and taking us to our room. I had a salad in the late evening and that was very nice. Maybe a touch too much dressing, otherwise very tasty and satisfying. Things to work on: The door to room 12 needs attention. If I didn't find a makeshift way to fix it the door would have been rattling and keeping us up all night. I don't think I like the idea of a shared balcony. Maybe a partition would create some privacy. Smaller space but more private. not sure you can do much about this but the dogs in the neighborhood were yapping away A LOT. It was disruptive to our sleep. lack of an elevator limits those with mobility issues. Thankfully, my wife is recovering from her injury and was able to manage. Otherwise, lovely space for an overnight. All the best, Ramesh

A view to die for!

A fabulous hotel with an amazing view of Grand Anse bay The staff hear are lovely very friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant is very good, thank you chef. Our room was very comfortable and spacious. Also plenty of room in the lounge with a large veranda to relax and enjoy the view and the sunset The shuttle service to Grand Anse is extremely useful as it would be a steep walk down and back otherwise. A very quiet area away from the main road and a nice pool too. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The Bay House is located in a lush and beautiful hill overlooking Grenada's bay. The decor and architectural design were elegantly chosen as a means of permitting the breathtaking views to shine, and justifiably so. The people of Grenada have always been extremely kind with me and the staff of the hotel were not the exception as expected. Beautiful view and very accommodating staff. A few items were indicated as inclusions in our room such as tea service and mini fridge that were not actually in our room. The front desk explained that since I booked through Hotels.com these were items that are available in some rooms but not necessarily in all rooms. Staff did find us a mini fridge and kettle part way through our stay. Continental breakfast was usually out of several items by 9:30 so make sure to go early if you would like the continental breakfast. The front desk staff were very helpful and accommodating.

Old world charm with a modern twist Amazing

This place is old world charm with great decor and art. you can take breath taking photos. Food was tasty but very small portions. Continental breakfast most days was tea coffee and bread. I went out to eat daily. So I was not much bothered by that. Staff was amazing. I worked in the lounge area place was very quiet had very spa like vibe. I would stay there again for sure.

Perfect Hotel!

Amazing stay in Grenada! The location of the Bay House is out of the tourist area, and it's a much quieter location with minimal traffic. The hotel is perched high up on the hill with fantastic views overlooking the Bay. You really never need to leave the hotel grounds if you don't want to! They have a restaurant, swimming pool, deck chairs & loungers & a bar all on a giant deck. If you want more relaxing and sh shade they have that as well on a balcony. The hotel is so quaint - even when it is full you feel like you are the only ones there. The staff is exceptional!

Pictures don’t do Bay House justice. The view is worth the long rides/ walk up the hill to get to the property. The staff is friendly and so helpful whenever you need help or assistance. I would choose them all over again if I should return to Grenada

What. A. View!

The Bay House is your sanctuary up the hill! An amazing view of Grand Anse beach! Great staff. Be mindful it is a steep walk up and down to the hotel and beach but the staff will gladly arrange a taxi or take advantage of the beach shuttle they offer at 10am and 3pm. I found the location to be very peaceful and relaxing. I had the pool to myself most of the time. My only issue is having more local based food options.

Our stay at Bay House was really lovely. The location is wonderful with gorgeous views in a quiet residential area. Rooms and public areas beautifully clean and the pool just perfect. It is up a steep hill from Grand Anse but the views are spectacular both of mountains and the beach at Grand Anse. Had a relaxing massage too and some great cocktails! We will definitely be back.

Very spacious and tastefully decorated property with absolutely stunning views. Staff friendly and welcoming but very disorganised. Despite requesting an airport pick which was confirmed a week prior and also a few days before my arrival, I had provided my name, flight number and arrival details, there was no one go pick us up at the airport. The forgetfulness continued....no privacy screen in the room, so the adjoining balcony which is used by any and everyone, we could be viewed into our room. I had to ask twice for a privacy curtain to be provided as when initially raised after entering the room, this was forgotten. The room should have been checked prior to ensure this was installed. Food choices unavailable due to a film event the day we arrived (that we were not informed of), so we were provided with some of the evenings dinner which was partially raw. Was assured this would be collected from the room as the dining area was unavailable, After a few hours spent away, we returned to find the leftovers still in our room with the smells permeating the room....someone forgot to remove it. Following day, after leaving for the day and placing all dirty towels on the bathroom floor, returned to find it in the same way....maid had been to fix the beds but 'forgot' to enter the bathroom!! Breakfast was the biggest let down, the complimentary breakfast was non existent. Just cornflakes, cows milk and miniscule portions of fruit. After 6 days and still not replenished, terrible.
