Great location, large comfortable room, excellent breakfast and friendly service. Glad we were on the 1st floor as there is no lift for people (only bags) and our knees creak.

Lovely guest house in Porto.

Les chambres ont des plafonds très hauts et elles sont décorées avec goût. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et délicieux. Il n’y a pas de personnel en fin de journée, il faut donc établir un contact par WhatsApp par exemple. Le personnel est courtois et aidant sans être particulièrement sympathique.

My husband and I stayed at this property for 7 nights and we loved every minute of it. The owners gave us the feeling of true Portuguese home by their kind hospitality. We loved the most convenient location, the plentiful breakfast and the uniqueness of the property.

The owners are helpful and nice. Not sure why the A/C didn’t work every night after certain hour, about 10pm on, it said central which we couldn’t feel any cool air to ventilate the room. Other clients saiy the same thing. 3 hot days, over 35, the owners need to to explain this. Also,the cleaner/ kitchen hand, same lady came to rearrange our clothings which we hang outside after 1st night. We had told the owner’s nephew, please do not touch our things. 2& 3rd breakfast didn’t go very well, she turned her head when we said good morning to her. She said that she doesn’t speak English but a smile says a thousand words. She was rude with a long face, that made us felt unpleasant in the room. Overall, stairs to 2nd floor becoming quite a task for us after a tired day walking. Overall, the location is great, room is clean, breakfast with smile will be great.

Flott plass, fantastisk service

Utrolig sjarmerende gjestehus med seks rom. Man bor mer eller mindre i en trapp, slik jeg mistenker at man gjør i mange av Portos smale bygninger. Man bør altså være frisk til bena, noe som for så vidt gjelder for hele denne kuperte byen … Rommene er middels store, meget smakfullt innredet, gullende rene og har komfortable senger. Frokosten var fantastisk, servicen likeså. Her kommer vi tilbake!

The property was fabulous! We loved our stay and the breakfast was delicious with the homemade jams, desserts, cheeses, fresh juice, the yogourt, etc. The attention to detail was impeccable. Check-in was easy and delightful with Anna too. The only suggestion and very minor…..is to include a wine opener/ corkscrew in the room and availability for guests to fill their water bottles at a water station in the main area. Thank-you Belemont52, we will sing your praises to our friends that are travelling to Porto for a vacation. If you are questioning whether to stay here….don’t…..close to everything….bars, restaurants, historic sites and attractions.
We enjoyed sitting in the main area with our wine/drinks before heading out for our evening meal.

Lækkert morgenmad med venlig og hjælpsom vært. Hotellet temmelig rustikt og man skulle sørge for god udluftning på værelset, da det var en anelse fugtigt. Dejlig central beliggenhed. Ingen støj. Dejlig madras.

A great hotel in the perfect place

This was in a perfect location and the breakfast and service could not be better. They took very good care of us and showed us many sights we should look at. Even though we were downtown there was almost no noise. Many thanks and would definitely come back again!!

Propiedad muy bien ubicada en pleno centro de Oporto. Buena limpieza y brindan un magnífico desayuno incluído. La atención de los empleados es muy profesional tratando de ayudar y orientar a los visitantes. Nuestro check out tuvo que ser muy temprano antes del comienzo del desayuno y no tuvieron problemas para servirnos antes de la apertura. Sin dudas recomendaré está propiedad.

Alfonso couldn't have been more helpful upon our arrival. There are only 6 rooms, so it was very quiet. We had room 6 on the 4th floor. No elevator for us, but they did have a luggage elevator for which we were very grateful! Fantastic room with views over looking the Douro River and Gaia. Only problem was there was no parking available as stated on Expedia and street parking around the hotel has a 2 hour maximum. We parked on the street overnight and then moved to a garage in the morning near our tour departure. Worked out well. They also went out of their way for us and had a delicious breakfast ready early so we wouldn't be late for our tour. Would gladly recommend!

This is a beautiful guesthouse with very kind and hospitable hosts. The daily breakfast was amazing with a wide variety including scrambled eggs on request. It was very close to the Sao Bento train station. We were so happy with our stay!

Building on the same street is under construction. Construction goes into the evening. Not able to open the windows since the noise is ongoing. Belomont52 Is modern, with a comfortable bed and welcoming and helpful staff.
