A little far from the station, but otherwise convenient location. Really clear policies about cleaning, bonus snack if you bring your own toothbrush. Recommended.

Service was excellent. Everything is included from hair treatment to lotions and even face masks. You can even choose your pillow. Delicious japanese-style buffet breakfast in the morning that changes everyday and a popular open bar in the evening. The objective of the open bar is mainly to taste different kinds of excellent japanese liquors including sake, sochu and ume chu. Centrally located in Ueno, one of the best neighborhood to stay in Tokyo near parks, museums and transportation. The community Onsen, just a short walk away, is a must.

Room is small but packs with everything you need , from body wash to slippers. Front counter receptionist are friendly but be prepared with goggle language translator if you want to speak to the staff in the morning as they have a sign at the front , staying No English Staff is avdilable. The location of the hotel is close enough to the main train station and it comes with daily Free breakfast ! They keep changing the menu everyday which adds a variety of food :) Highly recommend !!!

I would say this is the self serviced hotel so I could not rate how good the staff were. If you arrive the hotel after 12 am, you have to call the staff at the door and let him to give you password to check-in. All the lights were off, and amenities were covered and locked. There was no clear instructions to send you in advance if you Landed after 12 am. The room was super crowded that you couldn’t open even one luggage, half open maybe , it’s about 100 sq ft. If you are backpacker, then it’s fine for you. But if you have some baggages and luggages with you , you better book another hotel. The hotel was just 4 mins walk from Ueno JR station.

physical condition was good considering the location and the price. check out timing is at 10am which is early compared to other hotels. they require you to take a survey to extend the check out timing to 11am. male staff was not welcoming at all. he looks irritated at all times and looked annoyed when we ask questions. attitude can definitely be improved.

Great location if you’re arriving by train. The hotel is about a 5-minute walk from the station, which made getting in and out super easy. There’s a 7-Eleven just a block away for snacks or drinks, and a tiny steakhouse nearby that turned out to be one of the best meals I’ve ever had. Don’t skip it if you can get a seat. Car rental is convenient too. Nippon Rent-A-Car is only two blocks away. The shopping district is also within walking distance, so you really don’t need a car unless you’re heading farther out. The room is very small, so keep that in mind when booking, especially if you have luggage. That said, it was clean and well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast is Japanese style with a lot of variety, and the free happy hour was a nice bonus at the end of the day. Overall, a solid choice if location matters to you and you don’t mind compact rooms.
Steak House … 1.5 blocks from hotel. I don’t know the name but there is a cow sign. Small but wonderful food.

The hotel locates not so far from JR Ueno Station(Iriya gate). There also provides good amenities and coin laundry machine. It is safe and quiet. Breakfast and drink bar(evening) are also included in hotel service.

Very easy access to Ueno Station

Very easy access to Ueno Station, a 5 minute walk at most. Convenient stores were plentiful a d easy to get to, in case you get back to the hotel after restaurants close. Simple and functional accomodations, and the staff was helpful upon my arrival. I'd stay here again easily.

The property is great for its price and it is located to a major train station that not only gives you quick access to the Tokyo metro, but also the Shinkansen. The staff was very nice and polite, along with hotel services.

Enjoyed the Japanese style breakfast that came with the room price; the lady that makes the food in charge of refilling is wonderful! Free alcohol from 19-21 hr - small rooms but expected in Tokyo.

Good location

Nice place to stay near Ueno station and Asian style breakfast . As a foreigner I can only express myself in English and that seem to be a challenge unfortunately my phone is too old for the new translation apps .

Great location! 5 min to train station. Room was small but clean. You could walk around the bed and that was it. Bed was very comfortable. Pillow situation was different. Make sure you grab one by the desk when you check in. The one in the room was uncomfortable. Enjoyed the breakfast, especially coffee and juice in the lobby. The evening Happy Hour was also nice. The women at the desk were so kind and friendly. Definitely a convenient and affordable stay!

The property was small, but located near a large, central train station, so has great access to food, shopping, and many parts of Tokyo. Because of the small location, the breakfast was not as abundant as at some other Super Hotel locations, but still delicious. This location also offers other amenities like an evening drink bar (alcohol options included) and free ochazuke in the evening, which makes a great snack or even dinner. They also helped with luggage storage the day I checked out, which is always a huge plus!

Stayed 7/2025. Very good for the cost. The breakfast buffet was generous and also good for the cost. The room is very small and the view is nothing special, so know what you're getting into. The AC was very good and user-controllable, but it does take at least 30 min to cool the room. There was very little noise from other units. Check in was no problem even though we knew little Japanese. The only complaint was there was mold or dust on the bottom of the windowshade. Everything else was very good, considering the cost. I would stay here again, if I needed to be near Ueno Station, which you is a train stop from Narita Airport, and is close to Tokyo Station.

We got triple room and when we entered the room we were shocked because it was so tiny that we had no room to walk or to move our 3 suitcases which by the way were carry on luggage. If one person had to move the other person had to sit. We had no room for anything. Breakfast was good though.

The room is terribly small! we can’t even open our small luggage (we have another big and medium luggage). Location is 10mins walk to station. I won’t stay in this hotel ever again.

Room was average by Japanese standards (i.e. small by American standards), frosted window so no view, but otherwise just fine. I liked the keypad for room entry, no way to forget your key card (but definitely take a pic of your entry code). Lobby is a bit small for breakfast but it works. It was cool that they mixed up the breakfast options despite being a fairly budget hotel. Oh, and free booze for cocktail hour?! Amazing. Another reviewer mentioned the pillow situation. There's like a pillow *library* right in front of you when you walk in, so it's hard to miss. You'll definitely want one, though, as the default pillow is quite, shall way say, firm. It's a short walk from the northernmost exit from Ueno Station, but it's really close to the overpass into the park and the museums. Definitely easy to walk to all the stuff in the Ueno area, though it is a bit of a schlep to the Keisei line entrance (which is the best way to get to Narita), so maybe a bit of a tradeoff.
