Lovely setting, well established country hotel.
Not many staff so very little interaction. A bit of an odd set up with breakfast at extra cost but you have to book it the night before - either hot or continental.
The receptionist forgot to tell me this so it was a bit awkward when we came down to an empty dining room, not knowing what was available to us. That was too much of a faf for us so it was easier to go elsewhere fore breakfast, easier and cheaper.
