Customer service was wonderful. They were so kind. We did happen to spend a night when there were very high winds and unfortunately listened to a breeze coming in through the windows for much of the night. I don’t think there was much they could do about that in the moment, but that plus the beds didn’t give any of us good sleep.
The beds were not very comfortable in my or my child’s opinion.
We tried to swim but the water was too cold for the kids to enjoy it. The hot tub was out of commission due to maintenance. That happens.
We were also disappointed by not being able to have pancakes in the morning. Moreso bc the pancake machine was why we chose this hotel. I know, silly, but it means a lot to the kids. We were the first people for bfast at 6am and tried to figure it out but didn’t have any luck. The people after us wanted to use the toaster but that also wasn’t working. We were pretty sure there was no power to these, but couldn’t find anyone to ask. We even returned to the room to call the front desk with no luck. Someone did arrive to the desk once we were getting close to finishing, but he didn’t know why these didn’t have power to function.
Overall, we did feel safe and that is very important to us.
