My daughter (aged 13) & I enjoyed a lovely and safety stay at this hotel. The location is convenience and reasonable room rate inclusive contiental breakfast. We enjoyed breakfast every morning in an elegant victoria style garden. Though Kings Cross is a night life area, but the Victoria street is quiet and many traditional & Victoria style buildings area. There is a lift service from station to the ground, it is really good if you carry a big luggage.

This is the best-looking property on the street. The wrought iron railings on the first floor and second floor balcony are nicely done. Our second floor room had a large armoire, a small bathroom (that needs updating), a desk and chair, and a comfortable bed. The breakfast room was bright and cheery. The breakfast included a variety of cereals, breads, fresh fruit and coffee/tea. It’s in a great location, within walking distance of the Opera House and the wharf, and close to a tram station. They have a pretty strict policy about late arrivals, and their idea of late seemed pretty early to me. Fortunately I had phoned ahead to inform them that my train wouldn’t arrive until after 8PM, so they were able to accommodate my late arrival without charging me (the very high) late arrival fee. The free wifi advertised was actually limited ( that seems to be an Australian thing, free wifi means you get about 15 minutes a day), but the rate for unlimited use was reasonable.
Overall, it was a good experience. This review is moot, though, because the hotel is due for a major renovation. 22 rooms will become 15, so I assume the price will rise accordingly.

Had a wonderful weekend here with my daughter. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Hotel is in a great location. Rooms were a little dated but clean. They are renovating soon and I hope they can keep the wonderful feel of the place.

Albert and Victoria Court is very central to our needs while staying in Sydney and easily accessed. The staff were very helpful and welcoming and being able to have a bite of breakfast before starting our day is great.

As a place to stay in relative downtown Sydney it was very good value. The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. If you are wanting a luxury hotel in Sydney, likely not the one for you, but if you are wanting a decent place to stay close to the heart of things, this is a good option.

This guesthouse is in a nice street in Potts Point and well located. It is actually closing for 12 months for a major refurbishment. The staff are friendly and most helpful.

Great location, clean, lovely bed. However almost no ventilation from small window coming out in a parking place. Also screen shower inpossible to open and close.
Good service though.

Super friendly and cozy hotel. We got great help with what to do and booking tours. Room was small but nice, and breakfast is good.

My recent stay at Albert & Victoria Court was very good and well worthy of praise to the management and staff. Central to the city with good public transport and most things in easy walking distance. The hotel building is charming as it is but a substantive renovation (12 months) is planned this year that will maintain the atmosphere while providing modern facilities for guests. I will certainly stay again when they reopen.

This a charming hotel, the general décor is impressive. There are better and more expensive rooms than the one I had which was looking a little tired. Unfortunately the mattress on my bed was well and truly past it's use by date, not a spring left in it, the pillows weren't much better. What I found really annoying was hairs on the blanket, not mine, yuk! Parking on site was convenient but man-handling the locked gates in the rain wasn't. Breakfast was good, lots of choices in a delightful area but the soggy courtyard needs a solution.

Photographed better than its condition, tidy but old and tired, continental breakfast was excellent, staff were excellent, internet was crap, shower box was old, taps were always falling off, bathroom was cramped to say the least.
TV was completely limited.

Stayed for one night. Room was on the first floor facing the street, so got some street noise. Not really a problem for me, but just an FYI. Also, entry was right there, so as guests walked in and out, you could hear the door open and close. Room was OK. Bathroom was small but usable. It is a boutique type of hotel. Breakfast is pretty simple, just toast, jams, fruits and drinks. Area was alright. Just know that access to the CBD is limited later in the evening as the gates to the botanical gardens close so you need to walk around. I wouldn't not stay there again, but would look for something else first.

We weren't disappointed. It certainly was old fashioned but that suited us as we had come form a 5 star hotel the night before. Staff were excellent and yet I sensed they were embarrassed that their hotel didn't quite measure up to 2015 expectations. It was lovely and quaint and we enjoyed our visit. The heritage building was in great condition and Victoria Street is one of Sydney's best kept secrets.
