When I booked the stay, I had to provide credit card information to secure the reservation, which I did, and selected the option to pay at the hotel and not in advance. At check-in, we provided a different credit card that we had with us and expected that one to be charged. However, we have been charged the full amount of the stay on both credit cards and both the hotel and hotels.com have not yet done anything about despite my trying to contact them multiple times (this is apparently too complex to handle virtually, so I get directed to call, but the wait time is either >1 hour or I get transferred like a hot potato multiple times until the line goes dead.)This is unacceptable and easy way to guarantee I will never give them my business again.
