When I made the reservation, it was unclear that there were multiple flights of stairs between the parking garage and my room and between my room and the street level. When I was leaving, maintenance personnel showed me an elevator that helped, but did not remove all the flights of stairs from the trek. The refrigerator in my room made an intermittent but annoying pulsing whine. They offered to replace it, but I just unplugged it. I heard stomping noises/pacing from the room above me. It was so frustrating that I called the front desk, which sent out an engineer. Unfortunately, the stomping had an intermission and didn't resume until hours later. Between the refrigerator and the stomping, I lost a lot of sleep. The bed was comfortable. I liked that they offered filtered water; however, figuring out where to get it was a bit confusing. May and June in San Diego have so many clouds that paying for a view of the sunset is worthless. I saw at least one ice machine that was out of service. The on-site restaurant does NOT advertise any vegan meals.
