The suite was tired, the bathroom looked like it was last updated in the 1980's and consequently, the shower / tub faucet leaked.
The bed was an interesting combination of too small for 2 adults and yet too large for the room, resulting in repeated shin to bed from impacts.
The breakfast service was substandard, the coffee a slurry of unfiltered grounds and the leisurely response of the staff resulted in sitting for 10 minutes to make your order.
To top the disappointing experience off, the hotel added a so-called 'amenity' fee, which was in fact a cover for adding various state and city taxes to the bill which one might normally expect to be included in a transparent up-front price. Given the hotel already charged Manhattan-scale pricing for the daily rate, this was the final straw. Would definitely NOT stay here again, nor recommend this establishment to others.
