Very nice over night stop to break up long journey

A night to break up the journey from southern Italy back to Calais, 24 hour reception, so we didn't have the stress of having to arrive by a set time, our son loved that the room as like "a little house" in his eyes with the living room downstairs and the sleeping area up, odd that the only English speaking channel was Bloomberg which we haven't experienced in a Mecure before...but it didn't matter as we were only staying the night, breakfast in the morning was lovely

The facilities were great, especially with the gym. There was a very small pool but a decent sized hot tub. At about 9.15 am the pool filled up with all the locals who had come to hang out. Quite humourous to see them all bobbing about in the water! There were lots of pieces of gym equipment, it was actually very well equipped. The whole place just needs a lick of paint and it would be great. Breakfast was lovely. I would call it continental plus. There was a great selection of teas and coffees! The bar was well stocked and well done out. The room was fine, standard really.

Chaque année je me déplace pour l’anniversaire de The Village, c’est la première fois que je réserve chez vous, et je peux tout simplement dire que c’est une expérience que je vais réitérer chaque année mon seul petit point négatif et que je ne pouvais pas brancher mon camion frigo chez vous, le personnel est plus que serviable et sympathique. Si j’avais une note sur 10 à leur mettre celle-ci monterai, même à bien plus que 10. À l’année prochaine sûrement.

Nos chambres étaient surchauffées, difficile de trouver le sommeil à moins d’ouvrir une fenêtre avec le bruit de l'autoroute ou de mettre l'air conditionné avec le bruit de la ventilation... Hormis ceci, la chambre était spacieuse et propre. La salle de bain était propre mais quelques détails négatifs : crochet pour pendre les serviettes et miroir grossissant mal fixés, serviette probablement usagée trainant devant le WC à notre arrivée... A côté de cela, magnifique buffet de petit déjeuner et accueil agréable.
