Bad rooms, I booked a large room, but it was standard size compared to other hotels. The bathroom and toilet are in the corner of the room only separated by a glass wall. Service non-exsistent. You have to check in yourself on an "iPad" in the bar. There was an error so the staff (the bartender) had to be contacted. I had to wait for the bartender who was making drinks, the error was fixed and then I had to continue myself at the "ipad", he did not finish the proces. They say that this is a smart feature, so that they are able to help you with other things. The only think it helps is saving staff costs.
They say they are "rethinking" the whole concept of a hotel - but their concept already exsists, it's called a HOSTEL.
On top of all this I had to wait a LONG time for the elevator up to the 6th floor where the bar was located (and "check-in") the same when I went down to the room. The style of the rooms seems to be supposed to be a smart industrial look, but it just looks tacky. The view was into a courtyard and noise from the hallway could clearly be heard in the room.
I now see that they respond most negative reviews with "hello sunshine" and without really taking responsibility for anything.
I would NOT reccomend Ruby Louise.
