Das Personal ist hilfsbereit und sehr freundlich. Das a la carte Essen hat uns geschmeckt. Wir haben sofort unser Zimmer gewechselt, da es im Zimmer sehr stark nach Schimmel gerochen hat. Im neuen Zimmer 315 war es nicht besser. Der Filter, der im Zimmer montierten Klimaanlage, müsste gewechselt werden, da die Luft aus dem Klimagerät sehr modrig gerochen hat. Im Bad und beim Waschbecken war die Verfugung schwarz vom Schimmel. Wir waren froh, als wir nach drei Nächten das Zimmer verlassen konnten. Schade, dass die Zimmer in einem so schlechten Zustand sind. Der Hotelgarten, mit den vielen Pflanzen, hat uns sehr gut gefallen.

Staff were very friendly, and the rooms were a great size and very clean which I loved. However, the air conditioning was extremely poor!! We stayed one night upon arriving in Samoa, then went to Savai‘i, and stayed there again for two nights on our return. Unfortunately, both rooms we stayed in had terrible air conditioning. You can’t leave the air con running when you leave the room because it requires a key card — and only one key card is provided, even though there were two adults staying in the room. This means the air conditioning turns off every time you leave, and when you return, it takes a very long time to cool the room — and even then, it never gets cold enough. The air con units in both rooms also appeared old. It was extremely frustrating, especially in Samoa’s heat. The breakfast buffet was also very disappointing. The food quality was poor, and if you wanted eggs, you had to specifically request them to be made.

Excellent! The staff here is always so helpful. The resort is nice and very clean. 24 hour gym was such a good addition I’d utilize it after the breakfast buffet to digest & to get some steps in on the treadmill after eating a meal at the Bar in the evening. The housekeepers come by daily to service the room unless you have your Privacy sign on door than they do not enter but they restock daily. Small tiny laundry area is great and also 24 hrs. I would definitely book again for future trips back to beautiful Samoa.

The staff here from the front desk, bar, kitchen housekeeping all so helpful & informative. The duty manager I didn’t get his name Fijian young man but he was so kind & helpful with suggestions. The housekeepers maintained the cleanliness of our room for our 8 night stay, they made sure to restock waters/towels bed was always perfectly remade. Complimentary breakfast buffet was also so good every morning! I would stay here again if I visit Samoa again & would definitely recommend Tanoa 10/10

The two blade walls behind reception were disgustingly filter, this is mgmts failure.. cleaning schedule. No hot water on arrival! Had to wait for our hot water to be switched on to have a shower.. this is poor Staff generally freindly n helpful, we had help with bags. Rooms clean n tidy, but bathroom is dated and patched up with sealant. Breakfast was good, freshly made omelette but had to wait a while when busy. Pool area is great, seems well kept, cleanliness & ph checked in morning. Overall 3 cos simple things to be done to get a 4, attention to detail. Otherwise, ok spot for 2 days, but wouldn't stay longer.
