Great location close to Trinity College, the National Gallery, Marion Square Park, and Grafton Street. The bar and restaurant were nice. We ate dinner at the restaurant. It took a while for our food to be served but when it got there it was hot and delicious. Everyone was pleasant and helpful. The hotel was very clean and the bedroom was spacious. Decent closet and drawer space. The bathroom was small but functional. There was a mini fridge, electric tea pot and espresso maker. We appreciated the milk and soy creamers in the fridge. High point was definitely the location. Easy to get around Dublin from there, nice safe neighborhood.

I have been to Dublin several times, The Alex is the best hotel I have stayed in from the customer service of the staff, the cleanliness, facilities, design, standard of the rooms and space.
