Our family made a trip from Utah where we hit Yosemite National Park first, starting from the east side (Lee Vining) and ending on the west side. We stopped in Oakdale at this Best Western after spending the day in Yosemite and before heading on to the Bay Area for the rest of our trip. Oakdale is charming, a great city and this hotel is a great family-friendly hotel. Given the super-long day of hiking in Yosemite, this is a very convenient stop-off and near restaurants and stores etc.
