Would NOT recommend for families.

The lady checking us in was nice. That’s all I have positive to say about this place. I stayed here with my 6 month old, 2 year old, & pregnant wife. I wouldn’t recommend this place to families. I stayed locked and loaded when walking out to the car at night. Cameras are all broken with wires hanging out, disconnected from the ceiling. There were a lot of sketchy people hanging around. There was someone attempting to break into one of the rooms while I was there and I heard the person call the front desk to report it, only for the woman at the desk to answer it and strike up an attitude with the customer. It was a fever dream but my wife and I just laughed and shook our heads. “At least we’re only here for one night.” I didn’t grow up rich, and have seen worse..but as a father I felt guilty having my family stay here. I thought the reviews were genuine but they’re mostly from the locals who stay here and party here. A friend from the area later confirmed this & couldn’t believe when I told him we stayed here. We didn’t know this & he even felt bad for not warning us. It was belligerently dirty. I didn’t expect what I walked into. I went and found a maintenance closet with a broom and dustpan and swept our room out myself. I figured: why pay for the Holiday Inn if it shares a lawn with this place but dang. Lol if anything I feel bad they have to stair down at this place. I felt like they watched us like some aliens or zoo animals from their high rise windows.

Its the simple things

The whole experience was good. The convenience of the nearby restaurants and shops is great. The rooms were super clean as well as the exterior of the hotel. The staff were great, especially Mr. Alan. There were no people or children hanging out and running around. I would definitely come here again. All that was .issing was a pool and a working microwave. A kitchenette would be good, but overall, I truly enjoyed my stay. I would recommend this hotel if you're traveling or staying in Brookhaven for a bit.

Ok but not Great

Towels were dirty, makeup stains, and I even found a hair on one of the towels. bed sheets had yellow stains on them as if they were old dingy sheets. Hotel room had a musty smell, not moldy smell, but more musty. Did not smell clean and refreshed. AC worked good and was quiet. Walls were dirty, as if they needed a fresh coat of paint. Bed was comfy if you like a medium plush mattress feeling. Price was affordable and I wouldn’t have wanted to pay more than what we did. $62.00. Guy at front desk was nice!

I can truly say that the Hotel stay wasn't bad at all! When I first arrived I was greeted by Paul! Very Nice gentleman!!! He explained everything and I was definitely satisfied. What you see online is definitely what you get!!!
