Will not stay here again

Room was not clean, hair and debris on the floor. Towels are thin and old. No maid service on day 3 bc it was a weekend. Walls are paper thin. Window blinds didn’t work. Hot water was hit and miss. We were in a “remodeled” 2nd floor room; but it showed few signs of any kind of upgrade. Felt like a jail cell. Gray and bare. Great location to London Bridge area.

Beautiful view, not so clean rooms.

There were some cleanliness issues like things left in the fridge, popcorn on the floor, and a few hairs found here and there. The chairs outside were worn and torn and the pillows were not comfy so I woke up everyday with a neck-ache/headache. The view was beautiful outside the patio and there was plenty of parking for the trailer. Workers were nice.

Could have been much better.

This property has great potential due to its island location and proximity to beaches, parks, marinas, and the bridge. Unfortunately, the experience fell short. Upon arrival, we learned the elevator and boiler (no hot water) were out of service with no timeline for repair. Despite our heavy luggage and four-night stay, we were placed on the 4th floor with no elevator. The room lacked cleanliness—crumbs, snacks, and dust were found between furniture, along with a random sock under the A/C unit. The bathroom showed signs of neglect, with peeling sealant and a poorly patched wall where a hairdryer had been removed; the hairdryer was left loosely hanging from the towel rack. Keycards failed three times during our stay, and each time we were issued replacements with no identity verification, raising security concerns. Additionally, no breakfast was offered. While not the worst hotel experience, it’s not one I’d recommend for more than a short stopover unless significant improvements are made. Downhill under new ownership

I have been staying here for years annually for a business trip. This year was horrible and I will not be back. The front desk clerk was snippy at check in. The room had broken blinds, a multiplug was overloaded and looked unsafe and the shower curtain had something on it that looked like boogers. There was mold in the bathroom and the handicap rail was broken. Then to top the entire stay off, There was a fire in the hotel. The elevator motor overloaded and the fire alarm went off. There was no alarm in our room, and we did not know it was a fire alarm. 10 min after hearing an odd noise, we thought was the elevator stuck, we went to the hall to see firemen. 4 fire engines! We had to step over the fire hose! No a single peep from the staff. I'm handicapped, and had to struggle to go down a flight of stairs. No staff ever checked or called to see if we needed assistance. No staff came outside to tell anyone it was safe to return. Did not offer a downstairs room, but brushed past me as I was struggling to climb the stairs back to the room. I'm so sad that my favorite hotel become such a neglected mess. The staff needs training in emergencies & customer service. We will not be returning next year, nor recommend this place to anyone. A big chain like Motel 6 should do better.

In need of some serious maintenance.

You can tell that this hotel has a ton of potential, but unfortunately not the upkeep. Elevator did not work, and we were on the 4th floor, only one boiler was working so the hot water was sporadic, door latch didn't quite latch and could be opened by pushing hard, even though it was locked. TV stand was broken, so TV was propped up on coffee cup lids. All in all, the place needs a makeover and management. But at least the view from the balcony was nice. LoL.
