My confirmation said check in was 2p. Arrived 30 minutes early and was told to come back in “about 15 minutes. I waited 35 minutes. Still no room, was told check in was 3p. I told the very unprofessional woman behind desk that the reservation response site should be changed and was told “that’s not my job”. After saying I wanted to cancel my reservation, she quickly found a room.
Hotel is undergoing renovation. White construction dust everywhere. Room was warm. Bed was surprisingly comfortable. Next morning, before I was dressed for the day, received phone call via room telephone, from front desk clerk, (different from day before), asking me to move my car. Asking why I was told they were re-sealing the parking lot. Very frustrated, I went downstairs. Front desk attendant told me why I could park and said, “were you not told this yesterday?” I told her not one word of this was discussed. After getting dressed for day and repacking the few item I had removed from suitcases, I checked out. Found another hotel that was 100 times better! Would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Maybe isolated case , but not a pleasant experience.
