I never get a vacation first of all. I will be in debt for years over this but I wanted to celebrate my daughter’s 18th and Highschool graduation. Upon arrival the lobby is super cluttered and their complimentary breakfast is left over banana bread. Finally get to room only to notice the filth on the fan blades (1inch thick of dust and grime), filthy mirror that’s never been cleaned, mold and dust all over the air unit and the blinds.. fingerprints all the over the fridge and microwave! Let’s not forget the roaches floating in the fridge. Go to crawl in bed and can smell a stench of old dirty head on my pillow and there was hair on the sheets. Had to ask housekeeping to come replace the sheets and the worker came storming in slamming stuff around, like we were a problem. Asked to have ceiling fan cleaned when we eventually ask for housekeeping? They decided to come clean the fan without permission on entering the room.. kinda felt violated! The free bike rentals left us stranded a couple of times due to the chains coming off. Wanted to do a load of laundry to have something clean to wear home and that was out of order! Such a great location but whoever is running the place it’s going downhill. A refund for at least a few of the days would be great as I will no longer book with hotels.com. Super grossed out and will never stay or recommend Hotel Coral reef

Nice place to stay for a night or two.

We stayed here for one night before going to our timeshare. The staff in the office are super nice - family run think. We were placed in a room that had a horrible view of a lot next door with a lot of trash - rugs, etc. The room was really small. II know I booked a room with City view but this was not what I expected. The bed and sheets were awesome and they offered free bikes to ride. Overall, I would stay again but would probably pay more for a room that was in the other building facing the water.

Perfect hotel for Kalalau hikers

This hotel is perfect they stored our bags while we hiked the Kalalau trail, also they have lots of propane from previous hikers, call them to ask to hold one for you in you don't have time to shop before your trip.

Much needed getaway!!

The hotel is in a great location, needs a little updating. Our ocean view room was wonderful!! Just what we needed & wanted. We were only there for one night but would come again! The staff were wonderful!!

Such a fun little spot!! Right on the beach so we got to watch the sunrise every morning, it was so beautiful! Loved the pool, there was never anyone using it so we got it all to ourselves every time we went. Service was great and check in was super easy. Would definitely stay here again!

Front desk lady were very nice and helpful. I got a nice ocean front room. It was a bit old but clean. Nice surroundings and very close to a lot of stores, bicycle trail, restaurants and food trucks. Complementary bicycles and free parking were nice. I felt like i got more free ammenities (towels, bicycle and parking) and better service than the Hilton Garden Inn we stayed after.

The view of the ocean is really great. Staff were helpful. Down side is we rented a full kitchen room. Really would have been nice to have Linen for the kitchen. Also would have been nice to have a broom to clean up from cooking.
