Terrible. There was shaved hair in our sink. The sink was stopped up. Hair on the bed. Outlets did not work. Blood (yes blood) on the door. We spoke after our initial entry to the front desk person about our sink not working, and she could not care less.

Hotel was ok, room was not the best big curtain did not cover entire window. Stains on ceiling, some on the sheets. One bed looked like it was just put together. It didn't line up with the wall headboard. Refrigerator didn't cool and would make weird noises. Lamps had to be switched on and off a couple of times before it worked.

The room wasn’t too bad. The fold out bed that was in the couch was torn up quite a bit and very worn down the TV where the couch was was not working. The staff was decent. Overall the hot tub was lukewarm could be a lot warmer than that pool was ice cold.

Aweful. Pool shut down even though people were just swimming in it when we got there. I couldn’t sleep because the people next to us or on top of us were smoking cigarettes so my stay was disgusting and not relaxing at all. Paper plates for the breakfast area. Just sloppy and gross. I wish I could get my stay refunded, but I know that’ll never happen. I will absolutely never stay there again. It’s on Motel 6 level. The lamps in our room were coated in dust in the corners in the ceiling had spiderwebs. Now that I think of it… When we first got there, I had to wait 10 minutes for somebody to come help us check in. But nobody ever came so I just ended up calling the hotel while I was standing there and then that got someone’s attention. It’s just embarrassing.

The most horrendous hotel experience I’ve ever had in my life! The room wasn’t serviced and the hotel management said if I didn’t like it I could just leave - So I did! Fair warning for this place!

Everything looked great minus the fact that I could smell something in my room. The odor was probably from people smoking in their rooms. I hate the smell of cancer sticks. Room was clean though so I’ll give them that. I ended up staying at a nearby hotel on my 4th day here in Topeka and if I had to choose between the two, I’d opt for the one in currently in. So, it was mostly the smoke odor that bothered me.

Staff Support was horrible they had a new woman checking us in who had no idea what she was doing. Took us 45 minutes to get checked in. The night manager had to come get us checked in. And the night manager was seriously rude at a unprofessional level. They charged us $87.00 & said that our payment declined. They when we showed them on our phone that it came out the bank, they said that was them charging us. I told the women I haven't made any stops in Kansas we haven't used this card since we are in Oklahoma. She insisted it wasn't them. Then I showed her the charge says Bestwestern Topeka Kansas & she still insisted it wasn't her. And said we can go to the ATM & Pay cash if our card is going to decline. It's negative 18 degrees outside we didn't want to leave so we told her to run our card again. It worked and she said rudely, " see you must of had your card locked". Which couldn't even be relevant if you never charged us. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I'VE EVER HAD AT A HOTEL AND I DON'T RECOMMEND BOOKING HERE IF YOU CAN AVOID IT.

-dirty -no sheets for the sofa bed and no answer at the front desk to get them -no elevator -dirty staircase -pool sign said it closed at 10, but it was closed at 8:30 -stained bedding and couches I generally have low expectations for roadside cheap hotels….this certainly fit that bill.

The first room I got had a TV that wasn't working (room 229) and a heater that wasn't working. I heard the manager speak rudely to the clerk about "just handle it" and even use curse words. They did get me a better room, but the rooms weren't super clean. Not planning on coming back here
