We wanted a place with close access to snow. Place is a bit dated but very clean and had comfortable beds. Water pressure of shower was good. No hairdryer (but I also didn’t ask to see if the front desk lends the out). No elevator, but not an issue for us. Close to stores and restaurants/cafes.

Forgot a hairdryer & went downstairs and the desk clerk handed me one. No problem. Close proximity to restaurants. I don’t think it was working but I did miss the espresso/latte from the coffee machine. The continental breakfast was handy too.

Did not feel safe at all spending the night. Around 10 pm a random girl tried to get into our room and tried banging on the door and claiming it to be her room. Tried to call the front desk but found the phone in the room was not working. Around 1am yelling and screaming was heard in the hallways and eventually leading to screaming outside of the inn. Kept hearing a girl cry “she took everything. She beat me…” and some guy said they would call the police. The police came, but wasn’t able to hear the conversation but I’m never staying here again and absolutely do not recommend this place. Also another note the receptionist said our room number out loud in front of other guest instead of pointing to it on the card holder. Either sketchy or not good at their job.

Basic hotel, but great for what we needed. No frills in the room...not even a hair dryer, but it was clean and again, good for our one night stay. There is a coin operated washer/dryer, which I didn't factor into our booking but after a day of skiing, that dryer was a welcomed sight. Helped me dry off all our gear quickly before the next day. Breakfast was minimal, but again enough for what we needed. My kids thought it was great with the cereal and muffins. Staff was friendly. Location is great honestly with relation to food options and CVS near by. You could walk to restaurants if the roads are bad, which gives me peace of mind when booking. Will stay there again.

This room is small and way overprice, there is basically no space to hand any of your jacket, or snow clothing. The bed and pillow is extremely soft. After one night sleep, your back will hurt the next Morning. The breakfast really sucks. They are charging over $200 per night on weekend for a motel 6 room condition. I suggest you should try to avoid staying if you could.

The staff was really nice.. but hotel is in very run down condition. The quality of breakfast was also very average. And this is compared to the price you pay, the value of money you get when you book something else in the same price point..

Stayed during a busy holiday period, so not great value for price paid. But would stay again at a lower price point as its location is very convenient to downtown Truckee businesses, ski resorts, and Lake Tahoe. Clean and updated room in a dated hotel. Breakfast options was surprisingly good (although all prepackaged) and exceeded my expectations. Parking was ample, and walking distance to grocery store, which was nice. The air freshener was a little much tho.
