This hotel is undergoing renovations and shouldn’t even be accepted reservations! There is debris in every single hallway! The elevator was filled with dirt, and debris! We couldn’t even sleep in the bed because the sheets did not look clean! We literally slept on the couch until day time so that we can just leave!

Double suite with king and 2 queen beds, separate living and sleeping spaces was spacious, clean, PERFECT for travel with 2 adults and 3 teens with adult size bodies. Double suite also had 2 bathrooms and ample towels for our 4 night stay. Full size fridge and outdoor basketball court was a hit with teen boys. Outdoor pool was not yet open for the season. When we return to Auburn Hills area we will stay here!

The couch was ripped, stained, I wouldn’t even sit on it, it was so gross. The room was overall rundown and dirty. Having a two bedroom suite is very nice- but they need to update their furniture and clean it up.

Not an enjoyable stay at all. The hotel is undergoing an renovation but they should not book rooms until the renovation is complete. The worst hotel experience I've had in over 30 years. Very disappointed. Booked a 2 day stay. Had to get my room changed the first night which was only a slight upgrade. It went from terrible to poor. Checked out, didn't stay for the 2nd night. Conditions were totally unacceptable. Silver lining - the front desk was very pleasant despite the current hotel conditions.

Hotel was pretty decent, despite the renovations. The phone system was down in all the rooms so if you needed to contact front desk, had to be done on your personal cell. I had asked if a broom can be sent to the room, was told they will bring one right away. Still waiting by the way. As we were getting ready to check out, there was a power outage. It was a little inconvenient carrying our luggage along with a 6month old and a 2year old in a double stroller down the stairs. Unfortunately, even though it was beyond their control, it does dock some points.

This hotel was okay. The service was very good and everyone was really friendly and helpful. The fact that we could get a two-bedroom, two-bathroom suite was also really great. The hotel was in various states of renovation with our floor being pretty rough. There were old curtains piled up in the stairwell very little around the hotel other than a gas station and Coney Island. We also woke up to a power outage and had to navigate the hotel in the dark (our floor didn't have emergency back up lighting), coffee was sparse and the breakfast offerings limited.

The listing said the superior suite had 3 king beds, but it was 1 king and 2 queens. When I asked about it, they acted like it was no big deal, but it was the only reason i booked at this hotel. There were quite a few issues with maintenance like the cover on the sofa was damaged and disgusting and there were paint splatters everywhere on the floor

The hotel is a lot older than it looks in the pictures. There was a smell when I walked in. Check in was long and they asked for way to much personal information. The desk gave me my room I have to walk dow a hall that was unmarked and looked like something out of a horror movie. I walk in the room and there was someone things all over the room. That scared the hell out of me. I told the front desk and she called her boss so they could talk about it. Then I had to wait while she went to the room to see if I was telling the truth. I was then “upgraded” to a better room. This room looked like a low budget apartment. The couch was peeling. There was mold and water damage in the bathroom the dish washer didn’t work, in all everything just looked old and run down. The pool is outside and the gym is super small. The breakfast is really extensive for a hotel. Lots of choices. Not the worst hotel ever but for the price it’s a hell no for me.

My son and I come to Michigan to enjoy the Great Lakes Mall. We drive from KY often to go there. We found a pet friendly hotel, was told by Hotels.com the pet fee was $25. When I arrived, instead of sneaking the dog in, I was honest, and told them I had a pet. And showed an email showing my $25 quote, however, the email was wrong, the customer was wrong, and the said the fee was $75 and cannot be waived, the room has to be steam cleaned when the dog leaves. Nicely played. But. Why was my room dirty when I checked in? Little hard black specs on the couch, floor. I asked the housekeeping in the hall to clean, she was hesitant, she was leaving. But the mess was excessive. And unacceptable. I talked her into half way cleaning it up. Wanna know how I know the room wont be steam cleaned? Look at the photos. Is the only way a room sees a broom, mop, and cleaning supplies is if theres a dog present in the room. If so. Youre welcome to the next guest. The nightly stay was $113, and then my dog was an extra $75. The math indicates its just as expensive for my dog, and the email says, we understand your pet is your family. Again. I should have just sneaked the dog in. Or even left. The mattresses I slept on had stains. The hotel rating of very good. Is very wrong. I wont come here again. The fact that the customer and email is wrong, and my room was dirty and I had to beg someone to clean it. For $75, might wanna supply poop bags so your poop deck is clean.

I like staying here because it is in a great location for our needs. The staff is friendly, the pool is beautiful, and the breakfast is good. However, during this stay, we had to move rooms due to a few issues. The staff accomodated us very well. I was disappointed that our room was not cleaned during our stay and that we did not get clean towels. As well, there many bags of garbage outside room doors that were there all weekend. I feel that the garbage bags should have been collected and removed.
