Stinks!
This is budget accommodation, so I wasn't expecting anything particularly special, but even so I was disappointed that this property got so many of the basics wrong.
I was contacted in advance to be told that the property was managed by a third party booking agent and asking my arrival time. I responded to ask a couple of basic questions, which were ignored. They chased twice more, and each time I responded only to be ignored. It was only when I contacted hotels.com support that they responded.
I advised my arrival time, but no one was there to greet me as they advised would be. It was only when I called the agency, incurring international call charges, that someone turned up.
There was no signage on the property - no name or even a door number - which is bizarre given they are raking paying guests who need to be able to find the accomodation..
The room was basic, which was fine, however the toilet was disgusting and needed a thorough clean. It stank and made the bathroom unpleasant to be in.
The door to the building entrance requires a key to get out, which is frankly dangerous, and could result in death in the event of a fire.
The location is good, but the property really needs to sort out the basics before taking bookings.
