We chose the Mercure for accommodation before and after a hike based on its close proximity to town, it’s secure, & has a restaurant. Couldn’t fault our stay. The rooms were big enough, great shower pressure, had delicious meals at the restaurant, and we felt very safe. An easy 10 minute walk into town. I would stay here again.

A great place to stay in Alice Springs

Mercure Resort was a lovely place to stay. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The reception staff went out of their way to be helpful. The resort is an easy walk to town. The WiFi was spotty at times. And I wish the food offerings at breakfast were hotter. But I would definitely recommend this resort.

Good location, short walk into town. Restaurant on site was good to have. Facilities for clothes and drying very useful. Bed was comfy. The standard rooms are fine, but the Riverside rooms with balcony are worth it. Stayed twice and very happy.

Beautiful setting and my room was excellent. The pool swim-up bar is shown as operational, however, it is closed down and filthy. Not pleasant to look at. The food in the restaurant was very good.

There were no blankets in rooms so you have to use heaters. Not enough staff on for bar service , service took along time, staff were lovely buy she was run off her feet the whole night. Tv reception is not good. No seating in outdoor/garden areas so you have to sit at pool.

Great setting and within easy walk into town centre. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Staff tended to be abrupt at times when you could find one to assist. I presume they may have been short staffed.

Needs a bit of an upgrade.

Quiet location, comfortable enough room but a bit worn and dated. Hotel has plenty of secure parking. Restaurant has a varied menu with a number of dishes featuring Australian farmed barramundi. Pity the emphasis on local products did not stretch to the bar - no draught beer, despite there being a craft brewery in town, and cheap merlot from NZ rather than something decent from Australia.
